31 weeks and he's here

Well I didn't end up posting much but have really enjoyed reading the board but now I'm leaving you guys. Had my little one at 31 weeks and 3 days. Very unexpected but he's doing great. We'll be in the nicu for a while. He's beautiful and it's amazing. his name is alfie. Or stormaggedon if anyone is a doctor who nerd like me ;-)

ETA: just read on the announcements board that he was 5+ lbs! I didn't realize babies at 31 weeks could be that big. thank you for sharing this info, helps me remember once again how unique everyone is.

@excption2therul It would be awesome if you edited your original post to include your birth story. Of course it's totally up to you and I'm sure you're tons busy with LO and recovering, but we'd love to know about your experience and any tips for labor and postpartum to share with us mommas who are still pregnant.
