Excited about... maternity clothes?

I know most of us are anxiously awaiting the "safe point" in our pregnancies, but I'm wondering if I'm one of the only ones excited about getting to wear my maternity clothing? When I was preggo with my LO last summer, I found maternity clothes to be so much prettier and more comfortable than my non-preggo clothes. Anyone else feel the same? Or am I just crazy? Lol.

They are definitely more comfortable! I can't wait for those prego pants! With my first pregnancy, I remember thinking - why do women ever wear regular pants?!?

I'm actually sitting in a pair of maternity pants right now. DH bought me some new clothes for my bday yesterday, and they were all maternity clothes. I wore them for Easter today. I felt pretty, and more confident than usual.

With my twins, I started wearing maternity clothes at nine weeks. I had no choice about it by 11 weeks. This time around, I'm resistant. I've worked so hard to get back in shape, that I'm hoping for as little damage as possible to my figure. I always blow up!

I still wore several shirts and 1 dress even when I wasn't pregnant. I gave a lot of them away to charity, so I'm excited to buy more!

I've had to get a Bella band to wear with a few pairs of pants that are snug. I'm excited for tops since I'm bloated and I feel like people are looking at me because my boobs have gotten so big!

Im so bloated but it seems early to wear them too soon. Its my 1st so Im thinking ill go maternity clothes shopping in a month or so. Ill need a swimsuit for when im 16weeks too! Hopefully the ppl at the shop can help me out when i go!

Very excited about maternity clothes! I've always struggled to find comfy pants because of curves (unless they're yoga pants!) but nervous about a bathing suit. I've always had a large bottom and one pieces have never seemed to be big enough in the butt area. Hoping it isn't the same with maternity swimsuits!

I actually bought a swimsuit last month... We went to FL so that LO could meet his great-grandmothers on both sides. I don't like wearing a swimsuit, I've always been very uncomfortable with my body, but I've decided that he doesn't deserve to not enjoy the summer just because I'm self-conscious. I found it at Target, and it offered a good amount of support for the girls too! I guess it was fortuitous that I went with a maternity suit.

Its too early for me now, but i did buy a pair of jeans online today. Loft has 1/2 off and free shipping. It was like 14 dollars, i THINK it was a good deal....

Me too! I have already ordered three shirts and 3 maxi dresses. It's weird because I am naturally a skinny mini girl so I am sorta looking forward to having a bump and getting to wear loose flowy clothes and it looking right. Hautelook.com is a problem too with my new desire for maternity clothes...I think I need to start avoiding that website until I'm at least to the 2nd trimester because I definitely don't need those things yet.

I love full panel pants, especially when my husband talks me into going to a pizza buffet. I'm not playing around buying larger clothes to deal with bloat this time around. I'll just break out the maternity clothes.
