does anyone still NOT feel pregnant?

I'm 13w2d and I still don't feel pregnant. I had my 12 week scan and everything was great. I also have a fetal doppler and can hear the heart beat but if it weren't for the scans I feel like I'm making this all up!

Does anyone else feel this way? Those of you who had children, when did you start actually feeling pregnant?

Re: does anyone still NOT feel pregnant?

  • Yes! Im 13 weeks tomorrow and have had 0 symptoms of pregnancy! It's been so weird

  • I haven't really felt pregnant either.  :( Haven't had my first doctor's appointment yet eeither so it's really hard to believe for us too.  LOL  We are about 10-11 weeks, and have had no morning sickness or anything else.  Just some bloating and fatigue.
  • Yes I'm 11 w 4d and other than some occasional nausea and fatigue, I feel like myself. (Well maybe a very bloated version of myself.)

  • Me!! I am 14w2d and I do not feel pregnant at all! My only symptom during the first trimester was fatigue and now I feel even LESS pregnant because that is gone!! It's very weird but I do think we should enjoy it while it lasts!!!

  • 11 weeks and never had one second of symptoms this whole time. It's strange and a bit worrisome but not everyone gets symptoms

  • I think it's totally normal to feel worried about a lack of symptoms! It sounds like you have every right to feel GOOD about the pregnancy because you've had reassurance at recent scans and appointments! This is my second pregnancy and my lack of symptoms is a bit unnerving. I had an U/S at 7w2d and we saw a healthy heartbeat, but with the posts about lost after that point for some women, I get a little nervous, too! I keep reminding myself that a miscarriage at this point would mean that baby probably wouldn't have made it much longer regardless of what I could do to care for my pregnancy. I know there's a plan, so I just have to be patient :)

  • I say I don't feel pregnant all the time and then my husband will remind of things that i have mentioned or complained about. Lol. I think I thought I should feel worse. I have only been sick twice. I just started getting nausea and I was never this bloated or tired before. For the first 8 weeks I only had breast tenderness but they are all tell-tale signs of pregnancy:)
  • I can honestly say that even with all the nasty symptoms i am getting i still don't really feel pregnant. Im 12w 4d and i just feel like crud some days but since this is my first it doesn't seem like I'm pregnant just that I'm feeling crappy for an extended time. I finally invested in a doppler and should have it by thursday hopefully that way i can ease some of my worry and maybe start feeling happy instead of stressed
  • Besides being tired, I have had zero symptoms! I heard the heartbeat yesterday. If I didn't know there was a baby, I would've never known I was pregnant!

  • I'm the same, 13 weeks today and don't feel it at all. Husband even made me shop for some baby stuff yesterday in the hope it might make me 'feel' like it's all real. Having said that, I have noticed I'm definitely getting thicker in the belly area, breathing in doesn't get rid of it anymore- I guess when I have a proper bump, I will feel pregnant?! Hope so!
  • My first pregnancy was just like that. It's amazing thing be grateful your body is handling this pregnancy so well!
  • Aside from being dead tired, I don't feel pregnant either. My 12 week scan was great, so I have that reassurance. I keep thinking maybe it is because I mostly only remember the end of my first pregnancy.

  • I'm 15 weeks and haven't felt "pregnant" for a few weeks now. It's totally normal for symptoms to subside as hormones even out. This is my 3rd and so far, easiest pregnancy, which is a nice reprieve. I'm also carrying a boy and am healthier this time than my other 2 so that affects things as well.
Relax and enjoy the normalcy. Soon enough you'll experience something pregnancy related that you wish you hadn't complained about feeling normal. Lol ;)

This is my second and besides a little tender boobs, I wouldn't know I was pregnant! Love it, Enjoy it and relax- not all are as fortunate.
  • By "feel pregnant" do you mean symptoms? Or showing? This is by second go-around, and I started feeling pregnant (symptoms) by 7ish weeks. I started showing around 8 weeks. I'm now 12w4d.

The first time, I  had symptoms like right after I took the pregnancy test. Nausea for weeks upon weeks. I didn't really start showing until about 4 months.

Honestly, I have to say enjoy not really feeling pregnant. Because when you do start showing, experiencing fatigue, constant hanger, mood swings, and swollen feet you're going to miss the days when you weren't pregnant ;-)

  • Each day I feel a little more pregnant (i.e. FAT), but overall I feel great. The only symptoms I've had are sore breasts, loss of breath (which is subsiding), and just within the last few days I've been experiencing round ligament pain. Oh yeah and I could eat a small feast at each meal, lol.

I was really worried about my lack of symptoms and asked the doctor about it multiple times. She said there is nothing to worry about, every woman's body handles pregnancy differently.
  • I have had no symptoms at all in my 14 weeks. I can say I have gained 2 pounds and THREE inches around my waist though. It is to be expected though!
  • I'm almost 12 week and have had almost no pregnancy symptoms. I guess it's lucky since the women in my family have always had rough pregnancies, but I would like to be able to actually feel like I'm pregnant. I can't wait until start showing!

  • 11 wks here, and I can't say I really feel pregnant either... Only symptoms are headaches, some cramping, and I want to eat all the time. My doctor said this was normal for some...
  • I feel almost completely normal as well ! We had our 13 weeks apt and went to an ultrasound studio and our baby is strong and healthy and growing so much! I guess we should just count our blessings that we feel so good !!! :)
