  • Doing well over here!

Have some nerves going on. During our appointment last week our mw was reviewing measurements from our 20w a/s. Our son's head circumference measured in the 8th percentile. Our mw didn't seem very concerned, but concerned enough to schedule a follow up u/s at 28w. Has me worried! But then again DS was squirming around and moving so much the tech had a hard time getting any good shots... so maybe it's nothing. It'll be nice to have another sneak peek at our LO here in a few weeks!!!

  • 21 weeks 4 days here. Nothing much going on this week. I've had horrible back pain since Saturday night. Gonna try to see if it gets better today, if not I'll call my dr just to check.

QOTD: I've tried to hide my bump up until this week. I just can't fit in regular pants anymore so more and more people keep commenting on how cute my bump is. I get so weird about it all. I'm sure I'll calm down and feel more comfortable once I hit v day at 24 weeks.

QOTD: my work people finally can see my bump. Although in my mind I just feel like I'm chubby. Everyday when I come in they say "let's see the bump!!" Lol. Makes me feel good. Everyone at work knows we struggled so they are super supportive.

  • Hey! I am now 20 weeks and we finally let family know yesterday at Easter about the pregnancy. I am still very nervous telling people and I hope I get more confident soon. Family is very excited about planning a baby shower and i just asked them to wait a bit. I don't know what I'm waiting for but I agree with DSculley that I hope when I hit 24 weeks I will start to believe this is really going to happen. I had my 20 week a/s last week and it was a HUGE relief to know everything is fine with baby and he's developing normally. We did find that I do have an anterior and low lying placenta that is currently covering my cervix. The MFM seemed very confident that it will move up but I do need another ultrasound in the future to check it out. The OB put me on pelvic rest with no excessive exercise although MFM says no restrictions. I'm trying not to worry about it and just think positively. On a positive note, I can feel him moving about more and more now and that is very reassuring.
QOTW: I guess I was pretty surprised that no one had even secretly guessed we were pregnant! I feel like it was very obvious and I look like I've gained 30 lbs, but I must not look THAT big;-)

  • Hey Ladies -
I'm 25w4d today. I feel like the weeks are going by so fast now. Only 2 more weeks to 3rd tri! DH gave me a birthday surprise early - we're getting a 3d/4d ultrasound this Wed!! I'm sooooo excited. :)

QOTD: Working at a school I get a lot of hilarious comments from the kids. My fav are hearing the things the kinders make up about what the baby is doing like "he's winking at me!" "He just waved goodbye!" "He's telling me the class is too loud right now!"

  • Hello,

22w2d today. I had an OB appt. today, and saw both babies moving around. They are both transverse now, we were able to get a 3D pic of baby Boy. we couldn't get a really good picture of baby Girl.

QOTD: I have not received any funny pregnancy comments yet.
  • Hi All! Hope everyone is feeling great. I had a check in today and the heartbeat looked good. I have an anterior placenta and have felt kicks low in my stomach for a few weeks, but those days are gone.... now she is punching wildly all over my stomach. It actually made me jump in a meeting today. Doctor said that my weight overall is high because I gained weight during my first trimester and most don't. I've gained 20 lbs so far and am 23 weeks tomorrow. I'd like to keep my weight in the normal range... but it's not looking good. I'm gaining a pound a week with 17 weeks to go. I haven't been eating very healthy.... I need to work on that, but I have felt pretty unmotivated and I was so motivated beforehand. I don't get it.

QOTD: No one has said anything unusually funny or flattering to me. People have asked some of my employees if I'm getting fat or if I'm pregnant.... I'm glad they can at least answer that I'm pregnant!!
    Our story:
Married 7/2013 - been TTC ever since
Me: 35 - normal test results
    Husband: 30 - Concentration:10.8 Million/ml, Motility: 16%, Progressive Motility: 9%, Morphology: 3%

    IVF #1
    11/13 - 19 retrieved, 18 ICSI, 15 fertilized.
    Transfer 11/16 - 1 blastocyst transfered, 3 frosties
    11/28 - Beta #1 BFP! 12dp5dt beta 1,699
    11/30 - Beta #2 14dp5dt 3,400
12/8 - No signs of baby at first U/S (6 weeks)
12/15 - yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat all there! I'm still pregnant! One girl, due 8/4

  • 19w5d with the twins. Feeling good. OB appt this week- always good to see them :) heartburn had reared its ugly head...I'm assuming it's here to stay :(

QOTD: Funniest- i'm friends with a woman at one of my accounts, and I hadn't told her I was pregnant yet ~3 wks ago. I had just gotten to her office, and I was reaching for something in my purse when she screamed and pointed at my belly, "what is THAT???" "Oh, hhahaha--- twins!"

Most flattering- "you have the cutest bump EVER! Wait- you're carrying twins??? Double the cuteness!"

  • Ugh well I couldn't take the pain much after I posted my check in. I ended up calling my OBGYN to get an appt. When I was there getting ready to give a urine same there was a tiny spot of blood on my panty liner (I have a history of spotting but this caused me to have a major freak out session with the combined back pain and cramping). I just kept telling myself thank goodness I was at the doctor. She did an internal exam and said my cervix looked closed and there was no sign of any bleeding inside me. She also did a sono for peace of mind and all looked good with baby boy. She's wondering if I have kidney stones. I have a sono scheduled Wednesday morning for my kidneys. Although, all night tonight I kept debating going to the ER bc the pain is so intense. Gonna try to just go to bed and see what happens tomorrow.

@katemonster1 I really should look into a prenatal massage. Did you just call around places and ask if they specialize in massages for pregnant women?

Glad to hear everyone else's week seems to be going good!

  • I'm 19 weeks 5 days today. We had our u/s yesterday, and we were thrilled to find out that we are having a healthy baby girl!! We got so many cute profile pictures, and she looked right at the screen and yawned. My DS was a little disappointed, because he swore he was getting a baby brother. Lol. We had family over last night, and we let DS cut a cake that was pink inside to reveal the gender to everyone. There was a lot of excitement because we have had all little boys in the family up until this point. My DS woke up this morning and said he was happy that the baby is a little girl, so I guess he is getting used to the idea :)

QOTD: I have gotten a lot of comments about how cute my bump is. It seemed to grow a lot in one week and everyone started noticing it all at once.

After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
    Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.

  • @katemonster1 thank you!! I want to figure out if this is a kidney stone or not for sure before I do any massages or anything. Pain is still awful today but I was able to get my kidney sono today instead of tomorrow...of course the doctor never called with the results. FX for tomorrow. I need relief!!

  • Newcomer here! I'm at 20 weeks pregnant. Due date is September 1. Baby is a boy!

QOTD: "You're glowing!" and lots of comments about how cute I am pregnant. Today someone said "You look so cute with your bump." I'm almost 41 years old and haven't been called cute by another woman EVER in my adult life. So it's funny that now I'm being called cute quite often.
