Has anyone been asked if they are having twins or has someone said "are you sure you don't have twins in there?" I've been asked twice, and the second time brought tears. My pre-pregnancy weight was 125, and at 27 weeks, I've gained 14 lbs, which apparently is the "norm," so what is the deal?!
Has anyone else been asked this, and, if so, how do you handle it? I can't help but have my feelings hurt.

Re: Have you been asked if you're having twins..when you aren't?
By the way, 14 lbs is not a lot at 27 weeks. I'm up 18 lbs at 26 weeks.
Maybe we should have a copy of this to hand out to the people who don't think before they speak!
Maybe I didn't take it to heart because my MIL has been delighting in telling me I'm "huge" and "so big" which I think is way worse .... Stupid cow
Trust me, that shuts them up. Stay beautiful mamas and mamas to be!
"Oh, you think I'm big? I'm having a baby, what's your excuse?" ;-)
