No, but Gatorade. I was getting weak. And dizzy and etc and I wasn't sure if I was needing more hydration. It seems to help. I take little sips here and there throughout the day.
Try a water high in alkaline! I was having so much trouble drinking plain water and this has helped so much. Trader joes sells their own version and the other is called essentia (sp?)
I used to drink propel, but late in pregnancy, it gave me horrible acid reflux with DD. I think there are some ingredients in it that I would like to avoid anyway. Have you tried infusing your water with fruit? There are pitchers and water bottles made for that or you could just pop some berries in your water glass. I like strawberries, ginger, and a squeeze of orange or lemon!
@twogirlsandagreen are you sure they all have artificial sweeteners? I hate artificial sweeteners and I don't taste it in there and I notice it in anything. They aren't supposed to be used during pregnancy either. Still pretty sure mine doesn't have them. The electrolytes seem to have helped so far.
@deanna1313 yes it contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener. All, and I mean all, artificial sweeteners should scare people. Plain sugar (from sugar cane), sugar from fruits and stevia are really all humans should consume sugar wise
Yeah wasn't sure...ugh probably won't drink it if there are artificial sweeteners in it...I just need something else other than water. It's getting so hard to drink just water now.
Ice mountain makes a sparkling water. 3 ingredients. Water, co2, and flavor. Lemon, black cherry, orange and raspberry lime. No artificial flavor or sugar. I just read ingredients on everything now.
