38weeks No Braxton Hicks

I haven't been having any BH contractions. It's making me think that either my water is gonna break and catch me off guard, or I'm going to go past 40 weeks and have to be induced.
Are there any moms or someone out there that can help me out with this. Personally, I think I'm just anxious and ready to have my baby!!! Lol

    I haven't had any Braxton Hicks contractions either (I'm 38+3). As of today I'm 2cm dilated and my doctor said my cervix is very thin so she doesn't think I'll make it to April, let alone my due date of April 5th. Next appt I'd ask your doctor's opinion--they may not be right but they may be able to make you more aware of where you are in the process!

    I go to the Dr this Friday to see if I'm dilated. And how cool, your due date is on my birthday April 5th, then my due date is the 8th lol. @houser1406

    Happy early birthday! It seems to be a popular day haha. That's good you're going to your appt soon--I thought I'd be going past my EDD, for sure, but after today I'm nervous to even walk too fast or bend over lol

    I didn't notice any BH with my first two- I think a lot of FTM don't feel them, the more kids you have the stronger the BH's are.

    I am 36 weeks and have yet to feel any BH. I've read that FTM sometimes don't feel them but that they are happening! I'm afraid my real contractions will be so severe bc I haven't felt any yet!

    I'm not having many. Or maybe I can't feel them. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and 4cm and 100% effaced but starting to think this baby is clinging onto my cervix.

    Doctors appt tomorrow.

    I'm on baby number 2 and have never experienced a braxton hicks. I was induced the first time at 41 weeks 3 days. Induction is not so bad.

    I'm 39 + 4 and have had no bh or contractions I can feel. I was in l&d last week due to bp spike and they said I was contracting, I just didn't feel them. I'm only dilated 1 cm and don't feel like he will be here anytime soon.

    39w and been having actual contractions (but they're too sporadic) but today at my appt I am ZERO cm dialated!! Dr said they won't talk about inducing until I reach my EDD of 4/1.

    That's exactly how I feel @girlygirlk8e !!! I think the real contractions are gonna make me pass out lol. For the most part I've had a pretty good pregnancy so this whole anticipating my water breaking and having real contractions for the first time freak me out. I can't even tolerate headaches, and pretty soon I'll be pushing a person out of my vagina lol YIKES.

    Lol thank you!!! @houser1406 you'll give birth to an aries, headstrong baby :) but we can be stubborn, so he/she will probably do a lot of learning on their own and get fussy when they can't do it lol.

    I'm 39 weeks, no contractions and not dialated...I have an appt to be induced April 9th so hopefully baby comes before then

    @nursemom83 Baby yet? I'd assume so. How long after that post did you go into labor? I'm starting to worry that I'm going to dilate and thin out but not have contractions. Lol.

    Ive been having BH since around 22 weeks not painful, I'm now 39+4 and they are awful :( good luck everyone
