Pic of the 1st Item You Put Together for Baby!

We put together the bassinet today! Lol, it was easier than the crib/changing table combo that we still have to do! Piper's room is officially full of stuff; we'll have to whip it together before she gets here. There's literally zero floor space left in the room (it's small anyways). I'll think I'll hold off until after the baby shower to buy anything else, maybe...

Has anyone put together any baby items yet? From experience, cribs take forever and swings are very confusing! Post your pic!

    That is adorable! Love it.. I'm probably in the minority, but we haven't bought ANYTHING yet!! .. Not even a single onesie! (we haven't had our anatomy scan yet, so that's probably part of the reason)

    The pack &play, car seat and swing we have picked out are all pretty gender neutral, and those are the only "big ticket" items on our list. I think I'm subconsciously waiting until 5 or 6 months before starting.. That gives me less time to buy unnecessary, adorable things once the basics are taken care of! Kudos to you for being on top of it all!

    We haven't even looked into buying anything yet. I'm only 18 weeks so I have PLENTY of time. We have to buy boy stuff all over again (have three boys already but not a scrap of anything left) which I'm not the least bit excited about so we'll wait.

    Ive been waiting until we find out the sex of the baby to buy anything. I have some things from my first baby boy like the pack and play/bassinet. Rocking chair, crib, toys. Things of that nature. I gave away most of his clothes. So i have to mostly buy that. I think our big ticket items are a car seat, double stroller and a new dresser.
    With my first i was so paranoid something would happen to the baby i didnt buy anything until i was like 8 months

    I was told after 26 weeks to start going at it with shopping and other items but we also don't know what we are having yet. I did however figure out what baby's first Halloween costume will be because it is gender neutral. A cootie cause this baby is giving me a run for my money lmao. Happy shopping everyone. Wait a bit longer for our fun.

    This is my first, but I think I'm feeling the same way!  I'm sure once we find out the baby's sex I'll be more on board with shopping, though!

    Thanks! I got it online at Pottery Barn Kids; it was 50% off when I bought it on special, so be on the lookout for sales! There's also another cute one online at Restoration Hardware Baby & Child.

    Thanks! We love it too! It's from Babies R Us and is the Sorelle Verona Lifetime Convertible Crib - Espresso. We got it for 15% off during their furniture sale last month, so be on the lookout for other sales!

    All we have set up is a crib. Probably the most basic crib you could ever find but it was a spare my parents have for grand kids. My parents have moved into my house while their house is getting built and all of dad's office stuff and mom's random crap is in the baby's room. We find out gender April 21st so I'll paint and start buying more after that!

    We have only bought a play yard/changing table and then haven't put it together yet, hoping we can move soon, so I've just been buying clothes here and there.

    I didn't take a pic but I have almost everything left ds so today I got motivated and set up the crib, then got tired and had to take a nap. Maybe tomorrow I'll try the changing table!

    I have bought one item, that won't be delivered till a few weeks before baby comes. I probably will start room switching and assembling after next week. But as of right now, we have done nothing.

    My husband has my keyfit in the backseat of my car already so I can get use to it and he can check the bubbles on occasion lol. Excited much? We also have a stroller in our living room so the dogs can get use to that. I am just too lazy to take pics.

    We're moving in June so no getting ready yet, but I've been crocheting away and this is baby's first toy (it's a jellyfish, I'm still practising my form lol)

    It's not really for baby since my MIL already put together the crib, changing table and pack n play, But I made this binder to keep all of my baby paperwork in order. Lol

    Really wish I could start getting baby girls room all put together, but we're moving a month before the birth, so that will be a very stressful time for me I'm sure!!

    @savwhit Where ya moving to Savannah? I'm thinking about setting up the crib soon since I'm excited about it. Since it's a girl I kinda spurlged and got a fancy white one. ;)

    I'm a quilter too! I have not made the baby a quilt yet, but I will be quilting as soon as I find out the sex! I have to quilt rack ready to go!

    You ladies are on it!! I guess I'm still waiting to find out the sex before I do anything. But my job is making baby mobiles all day for other people, does that count?? :)
