Daily symptoms 4/3

If u don't want to hear my whining. Don't read my daily symptoms.

I can't do this anymore. I've been up the entire f ing night. I get rid of the damn headache easily today but not so fast......just bring on the pain from his head in my ribs......

And how can it be actual pain ? You always hear ppl say... " oh it's uncomfortable." This is beyond uncomfortable. This is like turning me into that girl from the exorcist.

Disclaimer; I love my baby and will not harm it in any way. Ha... Love that I need a disclaimer.

I'm up with you @klkonwi with restless legs and lower back pain! Ugh!!!! Lord, take it away!

What did the neurologist say the other day?
ETA: never mind. Just saw your thread!!
  • @klkonwi I hope you finally got some sleep at some point!!

So far today I just have terrible heartburn. No fun! This past week I've been starting to get back pain too. Up until now I've had hip pain pretty much constantly but my back has been fine for the most part... not anymore, I guess! I was complaining to my mom and she was like, "That's strange. I never had any hip or back pain when I was pregnant!" ... The woman has had FIVE pregnancies, one of which was twins! I'm assuming she's just having a selective memory because if she legitimately never experienced hip or back pain while pregnant then I am extraordinarily jealous!

  • @klkonwi I feel your pain!!!! Child is up in my ribs! I put an ice pack on last night and that helped. But oh my...this is painful. No reprieve! Applying a little pressure and massaging down toward my belly button helps to move him a bit. But come on, child!! How can snuggling up to my rib cage be comfortable for you?!?!? Grrr...
  • My abdominal pain has moved back to my back lol. I asked my doc about all the ab pain i had this week and, much as i expected, all normal from things stretching and making space. I never know if i should be happy that nothing is wrong or pissed that it's always like "YUP YOU'RE FINE, GET USED TO IT" lol YAY pregnancy hahahaha

Totally get what you mean! At any rate, I'm glad that you and baby are both healthy! :)

  • Thanks @karaelaine1991 !! I know first and foremost that my health and the baby's health are most important. I'll get over these aches in about 12 weeks hahaha
  • Hemorrhoid :(
  • I got woken up this morning with the worst lower back pain on my right side that I have ever had. It literally felt like someone came up behind me and kicked me as hard as they could. After trying to bear with it for about an hour I finally called my ob office and went in to get checked.. turns out there was blood and bacteria in my urine so I have a pretty bad uti :/ It came on really fast, was just at the doctor 3 days ago and all my samples were normal.

The silver lining is that while hooked up to the non stress test monitor our baby boy got a case of the hiccups that you could hear plane as day, it sounded pretty adorable!

Oh no, UTIs are the worst! I hope it gets out of your system soon! I had a UTI a few years ago and my doctor recommended drinking lots and lots of cranberry juice in addition to taking the medication that they gave me - apparently it helps cleanse your system. Ocean Spray Cran-Grape Juice is one of my favorites so, as much as the UTI sucked, I was thrilled to have an excuse to drink as much of that as I wanted to! Feel better soon!

  • I'm feeling ok today, except for feeling crappy from the stupid glucose test this morning. Gag. Also got my pertussis shot. So jealous of everyone who is off today. Also found out baby is measuring 1 1/2 to 2 weeks ahead. I go back in 2 weeks and if he's still big they'll do an ultrasound. Glad to know he's growing, but also kind of anxious that I'm going to have a huge baby. @klkonwi I hope you get some relief, soon. I would be grumpy, too!
  • Kept DH up until 4:00am for no reason (oh how the tables have turned) and I'm still up and going before him and oddly enough I have either adjusted to running on no sleep or truly feel well-rested. So in the words of my mother, "two toots for that!"
On the more odd side of things, last night I was blowing my nose and it was gobs of blood, not mucus...I have an appointment with my OB later today so I will definitely be asking about that one. It really freaked DH out especially since (update on yesterday) I had pus sacs on my tonsils the previous morning that went away. They still aren't back and while I am a bit concerned, LO is moving around like crazy and I am trying my best not to allow myself to jump to the worst case scenario.
Overall feeling decent and doing my best to stay positive.
  • Today belly just feels so big and heavy like i just ate a thanksgiving dinner ugh annoying...and for weeks i have felt like im walking through the day on a cloud its really bizarre ...almost like im unattached to real life idk maybe just bc i havent been sleeping well? Any thoughts? And then to freak me out more this morning felt really stuffed up and my mucus i hacked up (im sorry so gross) had blood in it so my sinuses must be messed up :( trying to stay positive bc today is a day off with the hubs :) hope everyone has a great day!!

Not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt, but the pregnancy books that I've read have said that bloody noses are a pretty common pregnancy symptom. I'm not experiencing that particular one so I can't speak to whether "gobs of blood" is considered "normal" for a pregnancy-induced bloody nose, but hopefully it is! Good call asking your doctor about it, though - he/she would definitely know a lot more than I would!

All that to say, I hope all is well and that you feel better soon! Yay for LO being active! :)

  • @karaelaine1991 I heard it was pretty normal too so I'm not overly concerned, it was just a bit startling even with the weird cold I've had. I wrote it off as irritation so DH would stop freaking out but I promised I would ask my OB about all of my "sickies" so that he would have peace of mind.
  • @karaelaine1991 thank you! I stocked up on cranberry juice and it did help me out alot :) I'm hoping it won't stick around long either, hopefully since it was caught early it will disappear as quickly as it appeared.
  • I have this weird burning pain at the top of my bump - under my left breast. It's been going on for about a week. I spoke with the doctor today (I too have a UTI that just got diagnosed) and happened to mention it. She said it was just the muscles stretching as this is where the baby likes to hang out. It's not internal though - it's on the skin. I feel like there should be a burn mark or a rash but the skin is totally clear. Anyone experience that before? It's shockingly uncomfortable.
  • I've had that burning under my left breast also. It's been pretty random over about the last 2-3 weeks. The other night I woke up and turned to my back for a second and it must have stretched that spot because I had even worse pain! Doctor also told me it was everything being pushed around up there. I keep looking to see if there is a bruise or redness there but nothing!
  • I am SO emotional today. My husband and I were invited to go to the movies and I started crying because I was sad that my dog would have to be in her crate while we were gone. I didn't go and then I started crying cause my husband went and I was home alone. Earlier I was crying cause my husband wants to go to his family's for Easter which means I can't go to mine for my birthday (they live hours in the opposite direction). My birthday is tomorrow and I keep crying cause I don't even know.

I'm trying to get my shit together but it's just one of those days.

I've felt the exact same thing for the last month or so but lately it's been getting worse. Especially at night when I'm flipping from side to side. Ouch! Mentioned it to my OB on Monday and she chalked it up to growing pains and everything stretching too.
  • @frankengibbs and @karaelaine1991 the bloody nose/bloody buggers is a pretty common symptom for me. I had it with my last pregnancy too. Every time I blow it would either start a bloody nose or I would have what looked like a small blood clot booger. Pretty much the same this time. Gross I know, but common.

My symptoms today were pretty mild minus the rush of packing the entire family for the weekend when I had a wicked case of Braxton hicks. I know I could have slowed down or sat down to get it all to subside, but dammit I wanted to get on the road!
