I use olive oil every other night. I put a little on a paper towel and rub it on his head. Also when I give him a bath I rub a little selsun blue and then rub it I and then wash it off. My son had pretty bad cradles cap and now it's mostly gone. Good luck.
I put a lot of Vaseline on my sons head where the cradle cap was really bad at night then put a tight baby cap on then the next morning took a soft brush and it came right off
I used the coconut oil soon as I put it on I got a baby's tooth brush and brushed the area, left it on throughout the night next morning did the same thing and just washed his head as usual and it went away. If it's bad you could use vinegar an water. Not to strong but let it sit for about 15 mins or so then wash it with regular baby shampoo.
We used the olive oil trick once and it did help but mainly just let the shampoo sit in our daughter's hair for a minute or two before rinsing and then combing right after. Haven't had any cradle crap since!
I also use baby oil and shampoo to wash it away, but they keep coming back. And I met another problem, my baby likes sucking his thumb and hand, so I am worried that he will eat baby oil when he touches his head and then sucks his hand. Is any other mom having the same problem?
