I started mixing it with her regular bottles and slowly upped it(first 3oz BM 1/2oz WCM, now we're at 1.5oz BM 2oz WCM). She doesn't seem to mind. We also started offering water at around the same time.
I started mixing an ounce or two with BM bottles and offering it in a sippy cup at meal times. Our problem is that DD will only take her milk bottle super warm, almost hot. She is not liking the cold milk in a sippy much yet. She will drink water at any temp, but has been spitting the cold milk out. I have qit pumping and hope that my freezer stash lasts long enough to get her used to drinking regular cow milk!
I plan on starting to mix it in formula next week. My question is once they switch off of formula and over to milk how much do you give them? Same amount of ounces as formula? Just as often? I'm clueless...

The recomendation is 16-20 oz a day (about 2-2 1/2 cups). That gets them enough vitamin D, but doesn't fill them up too much so they are still getting other nutrients by eating enough food.
I also recommend just introducing it on its own like you would with another kind of food. I've done that with both kids and they've taken to it right away and loved it. I watched for any adverse reactions, but both were fine. Oh, and I went straight to a sippy.
@AmberLiz99 is right - it's not supposed to be their main source of nutrients like breast milk or formula was. So it should complement their solid food.
I am having such a hard time getting DD to drink regular milk. Luckily I still have a decent stash of frozen BM that should last through the month. DD will not drink it cold from a sippy, the only way I get her to drink it is if I mix it with BM and warm it up to almost hot in a bottle, which kind of defeats the purpose. I know it doesn't need to be the main source of nutrition at this point, but I do worry about her getting enough calcium etc from other sources if she won't drink regular milk.
My LO isn't super keen on it except from a bottle either. We're still nursing morning and night, and I'm ok with giving him bottles before naps for now. But yesterday, when he skipped a nap (and, thus, a bottle), he showed a lot more interest in drinking it cold from a straw cup. So maybe there's hope that the transition will come eventually?
