Anybody else have a 35 week ninja in their belly?

just wondering if anyone else has a mini Yoga master in their belly? LO must be either head banging against my bladder which sends a weird sensation up to my belly button or doing the downward dog and sticking his body parts out against my belly. It hurts and is uncomfortable but I know I'm gonna miss this special bond we have when he finally gets here.

YES! Constant kicks and chops and yoga poses here too. (However, I don't feel any special bond with mini-ninja when this is occurring - just pain. ;) But I do try to think of what he must be thinking: "your liver is in my eye!" "your ribs are giving me leg cramps!")

  • It feels like this little girl is redecorating in there. Either that or she's practicing her MMA skills.
  • I swear my little baby is a ninja. He moves around so much sometimes it shocks my husband and he jokes that he's trying to kick his way out!!
  • Not sure about Ninja, but I have had a kick boxer in training in my belly for weeks! And when it's not doing rapid kicks and punches, I'm pretty sure my baby is mastering it's break dance skills, especially the worm.
  • I was saying the same thing the other day!  When he starts kicking I swear he sticks his butt out and I get this round bump at the top of my stomach.  Then he tries to stretch his arms out and it feels like he's trying to reach for each of side of my pelvis.  It gets pretty uncomfortable and annoying however I have a feeling I will miss it.
  • Not me. My baby has always been super lazy. It makes me worry. I wish she'd move more. :(

My guy has been kicking the exact same spot near my ribs for about a week straight...I know I'll miss it when he's out with us, but for now I give him pep talks about finding a different spot to jab!
  • Mine has one foot under my ribcage and arms that jab out on the very sides of my stomach. And knees or a butt that push up under my belly button. It all kind of hurts but I also love it!

@xxyourstrulyxo - this is my third and most active baby. My first, my son, was very quiet in the womb. He snuggled down with his head in my crotch and his feet in my ribs on the right side and stayed there for his whole last 6 weeks baking. He would wiggle a little and got the hiccups a lot, but didn't rock and roll like this lo. He did, however, like to stretch his legs and actually dislocated one of my ribs. I just wanted to let you know a quiet baby is totally normal and fine. Play lo some music and see if that gets him moving. Ds1 loved and still loves to listen to music.
  • This baby seems to squirm a lot, instead of jab. Gets its elbows wedged somewhere in my hip or feet in my ribs, ouch!
  • 32 week MMA fighter, but yes.  No pain yet (knock on wood), but she moves a lot.  Most of the time I think she's head down now, but I do still get some periods of barrel rolls and stuff too.  We'll have to see if she'll slow down when it gets a little more crowded in there.  :)
  • Oh my goodness yes to all of this! LO is constantly squirming and turning, its usually only when I lay down and stretch out that it has the room to jab me. So right about bedtime the ninja awakens. Lol! The best part is watching my belly move. Its freaks the rest of my family out but I love it. As long as LO isn't shoving on my ribs, that's REALLY uncomfortable!
