Dull Pain only on Left Side - Reassurance?

Hello mamas. I've had a dull pain on the left side of my lower abdomen since 5 weeks, and am currently going on 9 weeks tomorrow. On Sunday I had cramping and red blood - went to the ER, got my first ultrasound - heartbeat and baby looked fine. Went to my first regular doctor visit Tuesday and they read the ER ultrasound results and also said it looked fine. red blood stopped by Monday and had a little brown spotting Tuesday but nothing now. Except for this dull pain in my left still. It would help me so much to hear if anyone else is having/has had the same issue or something similar where there is a dull ache only on one side for weeks? I can't imagine this is ligament pain exclusive to one area so consistently, and the baby was in utero so the ER said no ecotopic. I just can't seem to put the worrying down and an extra nervous to tell our parents this weekend about the pregnancy as planned. :(

    I have had lots of spotting and some pain on the left side for a week now. I have a hematoma and they are keeping an eye on it. It's hard not to worrie i'm having trouble with the same thing. Knowing the baby and heart beat looks good is reassuring me for now.

    I was looking for a post like this. I'm on bed rest for two days for red bleeding. Have ob appointment tomorrow, ER doc diagnosed as threaten miscarriage. Ultrasound showed baby with strong heartbeat. I had one-sided pulsing pain on left side for a couple of days but no cramping today, just bleeding. I'm scared for the baby.

    Left side pain can be bowel related. Maybe the pain and bleeding are unrelated since you're still having the pain but no bleeding? Are you feeling bloated/constipated?

    I do feel bloated and I'm still having bowel movements but they are much less frequent.

    Hi. Read up on "when the placenta attaches". My boss actually told me that she had a similar scare, but when she call her ob they told her to relax and put her feet up. That most likely it's the placenta attaching and it's probably that it hit a blood vessel which causes the bleeding. Maybe you'll find what you need there. Praying your baby continues to be healthy

    I have light pain on my left side. Feel I have had it for a few weeks. Had US and heard heart beat Monday at 9 w+3. No bleeding at all. Hoping I have nothing to worry about but still stinks having the pain and thinking about it from time to time.
