Re: Thursday Twin Check-in

  • Week/Fruits: 17w 5d/ onions

Twin Type, gender if you know (Identical/Fraternal/etc): both girls- I believe di/di due to separate sacs and placentas

Symptoms: I have rheumatoid arthritis- can't do my injections while pregnant. So major joint pain and fatigue, heartburn at night.

Upcoming appointments: Not until April 29th!

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: I'm going a month between my last appointment and next- that makes me nervous. I also haven't felt them move yet and even though I know that I might not for a few more weeks that makes me nervous too. OH and I'm gaining weight by the second!!

GTKY : What was your initial reaction when you found out you were having twins? Disbelief- I still don't really believe it!

    Momo twins (very rare)

Officially done with morning sickness, so everything else seems like nothing.

Since that are momos we have appointments pretty every week! I had an appointment today and I do the next two Thursdays!

Momo twins are a very scary pregnancy. But luckily, we are now in the comfort zone. I have amazing doctors! I have to be hospitalized at 20 weeks until their arrival so that's always a scary situation. But they are growing perfectly and are as healthy as can be.

We were 100% shocked. But so, so excited! I'm a FTM so I get to knock it all out at once!
  • @darianmannn wow you have to hospitalized at 20 weeks?! Momo is same sac and same placenta right? I'm glad everything is going well so far!!
  • @KCwalza146 yes! Its extremely rare. And very scary. Their little cords get so tangled. I'm actually very relieved I'll be put in so early because then they monitored 24/7 so they will be very taken care of.
  • Week/Fruits:
    15 weeks today, oranges

Twin Type, gender if you know (Identical/Fraternal/etc): found out today they are identical!

    Symptoms:
Holy headaches! My doc gave me a prescription for them today hoping it helps.

    Upcoming appointments:
Today. Next appt and ultrasound is May 1st, get to find out boys or girls!!

    Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns:
Still nervous to move around 30 weeks and having to change doctors and hospitals.

GTKY : What was your initial reaction when you found out you were having twins? Completely shocked! Somedays I still don't believe it!

Are you being monitored every two weeks now? My twins are also different sacs same placenta, I was told I wouldn't be having ultrasounds every 2 weeks until 24 weeks.
