  • I'm using this too.  It does provide relief so I hope it is doing it's job.  I can't compare what it would be like had I not used it so can't say if it "really works".  For $15, it's worth it to give it a try.
  • I just ordered the angel baby bottom spray off amazon for 11$. I figure for only 11$ it's worth giving it a shot! It'll be here Monday. :)

FYI- Do you know that is basically diaper rash cream and not for mom's?  I ask because I also ordered it from Amazon thinking it was a postnatal product and it was not.  I returned it to Amazon and after they took out shipping, I got about $4 back- doh!  I should have just kept it and tried it out with LO.
  • Are you sure? I just went and double check and this is the picture that was included. I hope it's the right thing when it arrives! @TwinsCitiesMomma

Okay, yes that is the right one.  I thought you mentioned the one below.  I ordered both thinking it was a spray/balm duo.

Oh yeah, I must have just said the wrong thing. :) so many angel baby bottom products! Haha
  • YES buy it!!!! A friend brought it to me on day 2 and it was the first time I could really stand up straight without pain. Dermoplast and witch hazel pads didn't really cut it for me. I spray it right after rinsing and patting myself dry, then sometimes a few sprays directly onto my pad. They also have a balm that is phenomenal and I put that on after the spray. Amazing and something I will consider a must have next time!!!!!
  • Also, a sitz bath may really help. You can get a plastic tub that sits in your toilet and basically cups warm water around your parts, or you can soak in really warm hip-deep tub water. Soak for about 15 mins. The stitches can get tight as they heal, making you feel pinching and just general discomfort. It helped me! Just make sure your tub is super clean if you do it in the tub. :)
  • I've used it and liked it too, but the ingredients say it's just witch hazel.
  • I've been using it for a couple days now. It's been nice and is super easy! Especially since I can't seem to handle the Padsicles.. Too cold lol
  • I used Dermoplast and it was just fine for me...the pain went away after about 3 weeks.
  • I love it! I ordered it early and took it to the hospital with me. It has been a huge help.
  • If you are allergic to lanolin, be careful with dermoplast - I ended up in the ER due to major pain and swelling. No one realized the dermoplast contained lanolin.
  • I found it stung where my stitches were but it did help the healing process from what I can gather :) I also used the bath sitz and that also helped :)
