Hi all! I'm currently 10w4d pregnant with our 3rd child. (I've had 4 m/c also). I am 35 and finding myself consumed with worry over this pregnancy and I'm not sure why. Besides the m/c I've had...my karyotyping shows I am mosiac for Turners and XXX. So, knowing that on top of things doesn't help. However, the 2 children I have are fine. Since we are all in the same boat..I'm wondering if any of you were told some actual great statistics for healthy babies after 35.....obviously it happens all the time I feel like I just need some good "evidence". Thanks for listening to my crazy.
Re: Full of anxiety..any great statistics to share?
I have to have no special monitoring, treatment etc because of my age. My pregnancy and Dr care is just like it was when I was 24. Really number are just that...numbers. For example, 80% of Down Syndrome babies are born to mothers in their 20's. That means the vast majority. Yet you hit some magical age (35) and it carries this risky stereotype!
