Miscarriage at 5W 1Day

So I had bleeding that started on Saturday and progressed to bright red like a normal period but I didn't had no clots. I still went to the emergency room thinking that I am 6 weeks but the sac only measured at 5 week 1 day which was exactly how it measured the week before. The ER doctor did a pelvic exam, ordered a Beta HCG, checked my urine, and ordered an ultrasound as well. While my cervix was still closed and the sac was still there, he did say that this is a possible miscarriage and to expect pain and clots. I had no cramps until 4 days later (yesterday), with these 2 clots that I just KNEW and said "oh crap, that's the sac and that's the baby". I am still bleeding a little, like the end of a period. I am a little sad but not so much because if God didn't permit it for whatever reason then I have no say in it. Only He knows what's best. I give Him praise anyway because now I know that I can at least get pregnant while there are so many women out there that would die to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy/baby. Also, is it true that you can get pregnant almost soon after? I am 24 and I would love to try again. This was my fist positive pregnancy ever and I did ear that the first pregnancy usually ends in a miscarriage because your body is not used to all the hormones that comes with it.... I would like to hear your thoughts about this and please know that you are not alone!!! I am bleeding right now as I write this post.......

    My doctor told me to wait 1 cycle, I was also at about 5 weeks. I'm sorry for your loss! Good thoughts for us both that we conceive again soon!

    The same for me, my midwife said wait one full cycle. So sorry for your loss.

    It's best to wait a cycle before trying again. Just to make sure your body heals and you don't have another one. I am 100% with you on that. God said the same to me and I lost the baby the week day I found out. I'm sorry for your loss. May you conceive the next time you try. Prayers your way..

    I was 5 weeks 4 days when I miscarried on March 23rd 2015 and it was my 1st pregnancy. I bled for 1 week and emotionally broke down every day. 2 days before the miscarriage we got an ultrasound and it was the happiest day of our lives, we went to the Doctor on Saturday 28th March (still miscarrying) and the ultrasound showed nothing there. While i write this i'm crying again. I felt like I knew this baby my whole life. l turned to prayer and I would love to try again as I am 28 and would love to start my family. 

    The doctor explained to me that you are more fertile after a miscarriage also he said that your uterine wall must measure between 8mm and 15mm to have a successful conception, waiting one cycle guarantees this also, it assists in the dating of the embryo. 

    He prescribed evening primrose and a prenatal vitamin.

    I am so sorry, the same thing happened to me, 5w 1d, I went to my doctor and she did a pelvic exam, and took blood. She told me that I can start trying right away, which was just 2 weeks later! However, I would definitely follow the directions of your dr. Good luck!
