I had my 38 week check today. No internal exam this week (because it wouldn't really matter anyway.) I'm going back next Monday and we're going to schedule induction for the middle of next week, if I make it that long. My family has a history of 9lb babies, so the doc doesn't like to let me go past the due date. DS was induced a week early and still got stuck on the way out. Had we let him come on his own a bit later, instead of induction, he would have ended up being an emergency c-section.
I was supposed to work all week this week, then have the full week off before my due date. However, I think I'm going to make tomorrow or Wednesday my last day so that I have the full week off before induction.
