Noisy sleeper

My 6 week old is sooo noisy when she sleeps on her back in her crib. She makes all sorts of weird grunts and breathing sounds and it keeps us up. My pediatrician said its normal but it so hard to sleep through! When she naps on my chest on her stomach she doesn't do it at all. Does anyone have any suggestions to help keep her quiet?

    No suggestions other than trusty ear plugs... It is incredibly irritating though... Do you find that some nights she makes lots of noise and other nights is quieter? My DS was quiet last night (to the point I woke up - ugh!!!! - to check he was ok) but two nights ago could have woken the neighbours his grunting was so loud. Just hanging onto the advice that they 'grow out of it' (yawn...) although I can't now remember when my first son actually did. Hang in there!!

    I think it's so cute when they make those little noises :) my LO makes noises in his sleep all the time, And then Especially when he's eating. Haha
