  I had bleeding throughout my first pregnancy and it did indeed occur when my period would have been due. I bled at 4 weeks (thought it was my period), again for a few days at 8 weeks (thought I was miscarrying, it was heavy bleeding), and then again around 12 weeks (again thought it was a miscarriage, lots of blood). My son did eventually come very early (born at 26 weeks, he's fine now). My aunt had a full-on "period" every month throughout both of her pregnancies and she had two, healthy full term babies. I hope this reassures you a little bit! If I were you, I'd take it easy just in case. Definitely call your doc if you haven't already, they can do an ultrasound to see if there is some problem with the placenta, or possibly a subchorionic hematoma causing the bleeding. My heart goes out to you, bleeding is so disconcerting and there isn't anything you can do about it, which makes it that much harder to go through. All the best.

  My step sister bled throughout her whole pregnancy actually she never even knew she was pregnant until she got to the hospital in labor which she thought was an appendix attack. So its not always a bad thing, but I can totally understand being upset about it.

  I had one wipe of red at around the time my period was due, it is the only bleeding I've had this 9 weeks.

  I'm 9 weeks & 3 days & today wAs my first time ever seeing bleeding , I had slight cramps & a few spots of bright red blood! I cleaned up & lie down & ate , had a little cramping but no more bleeding . I was really concerned & worried I was loosing my baby or that I wasn't even really pregnant & I was already preparing & excited... Both me & my fiancé! I have a doctors appointment Wednesday but it was good to hear this , calms me down a bit until then!!

  Well the spotting stopped yesterday afternoon, so it only lasted about 3 days, it was pretty light and I didn't have any cramping just dull aches which I have had on and off anyway! I will be talking to my doctor about it for sure! I have a feeling she won't have any answers anyway.
