This is a weekly check-in for members in their 3rd trimester. You can join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell when you greet your little ones! If you are new, please include your EDD and team.
Hi, My EDD is May 25th! My husband named her the day we found out (super early w the Materniti21!) we are having a girl, Gabrielle Grace. and he nicknamed her Gigi! I thought he would be open to suggestions but nope...He has never wavered.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Hello! 34w3d today. We've been getting a lot done, which is exciting. Nursery is complete, clothes/blankets/diapers washed, and I've been slowly getting some last items from our registry that we'll need early on. I'll probably be bored the last few weeks with little left to do, but I am so anal about planning ahead, I didn't want to leave anything last minute.
Funny story yesterday, though...we did the hospital tour and at first I was surprised by how many full term moms to be were on it. Then right in the middle of the tour, one of the ladies' water broke!
QOTW: We picked Camila pretty early on, although we went back and forth on the spelling for a bit. I'm confident enough where we've been open with the name. It probably helps that we both have a small family, so we didn't expect a lot of people to chime in with their opinions, anyways.
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!! Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
Hey Gals! 31 weeks, 1 day today. C-section is exactly 8 weeks away- YIKES!! I am so beyond ready to meet this little boy. Regular check up this coming Monday. On a side note, keep my DH in your thoughts please. He is going tomorrow to the dermatologist for a mole on his ear that showed up and is getting bigger. He has had other spots on his back cut off that were not cancerous, and it is just freaking me out because it has grew in size...
QOTW: Blake Ryan. Blake is actually my maiden name that won't be carried on because my dad had girls! We also just like the name!
My History: Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010 Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure! 1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.
Love the names, ladies! It's getting so real. we had our first baby shower and it was lovely but now i have to organize and wash the things, baby room is looking like a Nursery!! wallpaper installed, painted, etc.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
34w1day - I am pretty much done with everything in the nursery and he has more than enough, but we have our big family shower this weekend. So I am sure there will be more to do. I have his bag packed and mine is about ready to go.
I can't believe how quickly it has gone here at the end. I was so sick in the first 22 or so weeks that it seemed like time may go on forever.
We chose Beau Parker. I love a southern name and it just fits us!

39 weeks 5 days here, and getting anxious to meet her! I officially started maternity leave this week. Feeling pretty good physically, though it would be fun to have a few signs that labour is imminent. At appointment last week I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced... going to see the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully things are coming along!
We do have a name picked out, but I'm paranoid about online security, so won't be sharing it... sorry :P Everyone elses' names are gorgeous, though!
32w4d! Had a regular OB appt today and all was well. We had our 3d pics today also and it was very cool! She was very cooperative and we got some great pics I have a pile of clothes, blankets and stuff to wash still. All the furniture is together and in the nursery. Still need to organize every thing though. We have spring break next week, so I plan On getting some stuff done then.
We haven't decided on a name yet but have 3 that are in the running. The middle name will be Evelyn- my mom and her mom's first name were/are that and I want to continue to carry on the name in some way. For first names, we have Emma, Amelia or Liliana.

Stimmed for 9 days, trigger on 8/20~ 32-36 follicles seen, 16 measured on each side
31w now and slowly getting everything together we have names picked out (team green) but haven't told a soul! I didn't want anyone's opinion on my choices and have found that people always think he name is still up for debate before the child is born haha
30w3d here. Appointment this morning where I got an A+ grade. B/P is good, measuring 6 1/2 weeks ahead and just chugging along. I'm a bit terrified at the total weight gain that may occur (60lbs+), but doc said all is good and normal. I don't understand where it comes from, since I really eat well. Ugh. Next appt in 2 weeks for a growth scan and then we'll determine if we are going to schedule a csection or go for vaginal delivery.
Names are picked but we won't be sharing until their birth.

Wherever you are, whenever it's right, you'll come out of nowhere and into my life." ~ Michael Buble
34 weeks tomorrow! Appointment next week...then I'll be going to weekly appointments. Apparently next week I'm also getting swabbed for the GSB test...eek!
Feeling sore by the end of the day, and exhaustion is at an all time high. However, my baby shower is this weekend so I can't wait to put everything together and just relax for the last few weeks!
QOTW: We do have a name picked out, however we have far from committed to it, and are not sharing it! Only because I wanted to keep opinions at a minimum. I have realized though with saying we have no definite name picked out brings on the MILLIONS of name suggestions from anyone and everyone!!

Love all the names that are being shared! @iheartsippycups2 I'm so glad you are using Blake on a boy. I hate how so many boy names are starting to be used on girls... like Ryan Renolds girl being named James. Ugh. And when there are so many nice girl names out there.
30 weeks today! It's getting surreal that not much time is left. Eek! The crown moulding DH put up in the nursery looks great and I've been working on some sewing projects (crib sheets, changing pad covers, curtains).
QOTW: we do not have a name picked out yet. We have the list down to about a dozen but once we do decide we won't be sharing because family and others are just too opinionated when it comes to names. I get plenty of opinions even when I say we don't have a name yet.

TRUST in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
My little guy is here! I started to have contractions on my due date (timely guy). I labored for 24 hours and pushed for 2 and then had to have a c section because there was no progress at all. It was a little overwhelming but we came home yesterday and are happy to be home with a happy and healthy baby boy!
Good luck to everyone with the rest of your pregnancies
