Ugh!!

thats really the only word I can say right now! Lol. Just ugh!! This pregnancy has been rough from the beginning. I have a tube in my right kidney and has been there since December. The reason for it is I have a kidney stone and it was causing my kidney to dilate. Baby has been doing great even tho the first half of my pregnancy I was on some serious pain meds. I'm so thankful that I can feel her
Move and just starting to actually feel her hand or feet when she pushes up against my tummy lol. The most frustrating thing for me right now is not being able to enjoy my pregnancy like I wanted to. There is no pregnancy glow and everyday I can't put any make up on Cuz I break out everytime! So here I am with a ghost like, zombie look and a tube/bag hanging out my right side. Real attractive! What frustrates me the most is the lack of motivation to have sex or cuddle with my hubby. I feel horrible and have no idea what to do to make him feel better let alone understand. Just rough right now. Sorry for the long post but I just had to get that out lol

  • I'm glad you got your vent on. Hey, here's a bunch of other women venting all in one place. How convenient!

  • Oh girl, I don't have all those things going on and I still don't want to have sex with my husband haha. Let's be honest, it's weird to feel the baby moving around when your husband wants to get it on. Don't feel bad. You are going through quite a bit right now and he needs to understand that. I hope you feel better and cut yourself some slack. You are doing everything you can right now to keep yourself and the baby healthy :) <hugs>

I agree. I've only had sex twice this whole pregnancy, does that make you feel better? I just feel so sick (still throwing up at 29 weeks), in a lot of pain, other GI issues, stressed & exhausted. I feel bad for my hubby too but I have some chronic health problems & we've been through dry spells before because of it. It sucks but you know a man will survive! I do like cuddling though & try to tell I love him all the time. Sometimes I have to remind him sex is off the table at that particular moment and that I'm sorry but he understands.
  • At least you can have sex lol. I'm high risk and had a cerclage placed at 14 wks. Can't have intercourse until it comes out at 36 wks (5 more wks!!!). I'm on modified bedrest and am not allowed to even take a walk around the block. I'm thankful my husband is very understanding and has really stepped up to cook, shop, and clean. The only bright spot, is I get to see our son more than most mothers see their babies during their pregnancy.
  • When I was 10 weeks I was in the hospital for 11 days with a kidney stone. I had to have surgery and a stint put in. It was miserable. Luckily it came out in 5 days any longer and I would have gone nuts. When I was there I was on a pain pump and had been on a lot of pain meds. But I am 28 weeks and my baby is just fine. So I have total and complete sympathy for you. Hang in there girl. And as for the sex thing do what makes you comfortable you are going through a lot and guys really can't understand what pregnancy does to your body and mind.
