Hemorrhoid, yep i said it.

Im a STM and the first time i only got hemorrhoids after delivery and they went away quickly. Now being my second pregnancy i have them and they hurt so bad! Anyone have advice for getting rid of them or how i can lessen the pain?!

  • Hot Epsom salt baths a few times a day it is okay to use hot water If the water Only goes to your pubic bone that has kept mine to a minimum and you can buy tucks pads too and those help
  • Sitz baths, tucks pads, prep H, stool softeners, staying off your booty.
  • They usually get better 6-8 weeks after delivery, some go away others just shrink up some. If they are really bothersome after that amount of time you might need to see a gastroenterologist.
  • I got a script from my dr cause over the counter stuff wasn't helping. These are the worst little things ever created I swear they are the work of the devil!!!!!

  • I had them so so bad last week!! miralax really worked for me, was constipated from zofran. prep h and witch hazel also really helped. they swelling is much down from last week, and the pain/itching too.
  • Try Mother's Love rhoid cream. Also, drink 1-2oz Nutritional aloe juice- I mix it with other fluid but it doesn't taste like much- it helps to keep the stool soft. Def sitz bath. Also, look into a squatty potty for a more natural position when popping.
  • I'm using tuck pads and prep h soothing gel. It helps A LOT!!
  • Amen to the squatty potty! I bought one from Amazon several weeks ago (they also sell them at Bed Bath & Beyond) and it has really helped reduce the strain during a BM.
  • Hasn't been mention yet - apple cider vinegar - look it up. You can apply topically for a swollen one and also drink a diluted mixture for prevention (also helps with heartburn). To help with constipation psyllium husks work wonders - you can get as pills or more effective is the powder (even though it's kinda disgusting).
