Baby Nicknames for each state

A friend posted this on my facebook wall today. I thought it was cute. Anyone find this accurate? I live in Jersey so it's "Pookiebear" or "snugglebunny" which isn't accurate for me but it's funny cause I always call my dog (Luna) either pickle, pookie, or pook. hahaha Just thought i'd share

Re: Baby Nicknames for each state

  • I'm from PA, and it's saying "Honeysuckle" and "Cuddle" for us... I've never heard either of those used as baby nicknames, and I've lived in several different areas in the state, thanks to college. I do hear "honey"  a lot, but that's a term of endearment that's used pretty indiscriminately and I don't think it's more in PA as opposed to other areas. Definitely an interesting graphic though!

  • Baby Pig or Little Meatball? I've only lived here for 9 months, but I haven't heard any of those. I'd expect something more cow or milk or cheese related, tho. I had fun looking around at all the states I've lived and seeing what was there, tho

  • I find most of these hard to believe. Ovia must be tabulating all the weirdos hahahahah I thought it was an interesting post though
  • Interesting. I'm in Colorado; I've never heard anyone call their child Lil Bum or Happy Meal.

  • Smashface whippersnapper? Lol. I am for sure going to use this now. :)
  • Actually I do call my neighbors kid dumplin but only because you can roll her around like a dumplin and its super cute. I'm not sure about mini muffin though because we call our girl parts muffins?!?
