My boobs are SO ITCHY! Especially the right areola, my god. Anyone else dealing with this? And how? I've been doing coconut oil but not sure if there's something better. Suggestions and commiseration welcome!
@alsier I've been using Palmers coco butter and it's working well for me. (Not the lotion that comes in the pump but the thick stuff that comes in the container with the screw on lid. It is more concentrated and contains less water.)

My breasts are getting really sore. My ribs on the left side are staying super sore, she likes to stay on the left side or kick me on that side one. This morning I pulled through Starbucks and this girl I know said "awwww you're so cute" and I said "I feel fat" lol, I'm not feeling so "cute" anymore. 29 weeks and 2 days, not too much longer! Try bag balm. It's in a green tin and is actually hopped up lanolin used for farm animals. Lol but it works so great. Also works for all the babies in our families for diaper rash.
Back in November I had a dream that I was registered for an extra class and forgot about it so I ended up failing. Well, last night, it came back! And because I'm pregnant of course it's super vivid so when I woke up I had to convince myself it wasn't real. The kicker is that both times the extra class was chemistry - which has NOTHING to do with library science, which is what I'm studying!
Geez. I'm ready for pregnancy dreams to be over. I rarely dreamed pre-pregnancy and always felt like I was missing out - NOPE!
Holy night sweats, Batman! LO must have been turning up the furnace at night cause I am waking up drenched and have to shed some covers. Certainly doesn't help me sleep any, either
I'm sleepy today (what's new, right?) and the rainy day isn't helping. This would be perfect weather to curl up in bed with my kitties and nap.
My body is definitely tired today. I'm usually feeling pretty beat up by the end of the week. I tend to feel the heaviness in my front a lot more, especially if my gym's Thursday morning class was a tough one. Yesterday was a step class, so I'm for sure feeling it! That area of my lower back/ back of the hip is feeling extra twingy today. I don't know how willing I am to call it sciatica, since it's not traveling down my leg or anything, but from listening to people talk, that's about the correct area of the back. Who know. Pregnancy stuff was about all the OB was willing to chalk it up to yesterday when I very briefly mentioned it. I'm not super bothered by it, it's just uncomfortable.
I'm just really ready for the warm temps to get here and stay here. Yesterday's 77 was SUCH a tease! today the high is like 48. I'm also ready for my Old Navy order to show up! Amazon Prime has spoiled me, I'm chomping at the bit at still having until Wednesday to get my new clothes!
Today has been one of those days when LO just cannot seem to stand still! I am constantly feeling her moving around in there, which I love it might be because I've been sitting at my computer all day to work on a paper, so maybe because I'm sitting still I'm more attuned to her movements than I usually am. But still, it's crazy!

I bought this natural oil spray that I rub on my belly when I feel itchy and it's been super helpful to me! I've actually just started spraying it on my bump as soon as I get out of the shower and I haven't dealt with itchiness there in a while now - I'm convinced it's because of that. I bought it from an organic pregnancy/baby store and doesn't seem to have any weird ingredients, so I feel comfortable using it. It's called BON Natural Oils Nourishing Skin Oil and is made with avocado, grape seed, and rose hip oils. It also has Vitamin E in it. It was fairly pricey - $25 for a little over 3 oz - but it's an investment that I don't regret making at all!

Try adding pure lavender essential oil to your coconut oil. Hope you get some relief soon!
I had a prenatal massage first thing this morning, so I've felt pretty fabulous today. I'm also off duty (all of my fosters are on Spring Break and on home visits) so I've been able to just lie around and be lazy today. I'm really enjoying it.
28 weeks, my body feels so heavy I can barely drag it around. Can't stand for any length of time, always look for a chair immediately when I go in a room. Walking is ok and I actually feel less out of breath today, which worries me because if it's a sign the baby's dropped it's still too early! I'm still working. I'm 40 years old and I wish I could just lie in bed and watch Netflix for the rest of the pregnancy...but then we'd be broke:( My bras are all uncomfortable, even the maternity bras and bigger bras I bought recently. Going without a bra is also uncomfortable:( On the plus side I haven't felt overly moody or had trouble sleeping, or felt contractions, or gotten sick, so things could be worse.
Horrible gas and diarrhea. Didn't eat anything weird so who knows...just going to chalk it up to pregnancy and not something crawling up my butt and dying.

Yesterday when I was doing dishes I kind of whacked my belly off one of the counter corners, and just today I noticed a bit of spotting. I'm hoping it's just from when I hit my belly but I'm going to keep an eye on it over the next couple days and see if it stops.
Just starting to feel the "end" pregnancy symptoms... Stomach feels incredibly heavy, itching everywhere, Braxton hicks contractions, backache, nausea, mood swings, oh I could go on but I think you get the picture. I'm only 26 weeks and now wondering how I am going to survive the rest of the pregnancy!!
Just got home from work and I got the whole feet swelling and spreading thing. I start the shift and my shoes fit, after 6 hours (I had them reduce my hours so I don't have to close anymore and thus be there till 2am or later = 9-10 hours) my toes are pushing the tops of my shoes and the arches have fallen. Bleh, pregnant lady feet

That does not sound fun! But yay for getting them to reduce your hours! That must be a relief!

There is a downside as I am now the extra person for busy times, meaning I can be sent home after an hour if we are not busy and I don't get recourse to complain about not having enough hours, but I'm transitioning out anyway - the season is only 5-6 more weeks or so as it is, before I would lose almost all of my hours to the summer slow down, so its fine. By the time I go back to work tonight my feet will fit in my shoes again and I'll be getting off work just as they start to swell again. It works out quite well actually.
