I went in for my 7 week ultrasound Wednesday and was told I had an ectopic pregnancy and was devastated. We knew something was going on due to spotting and low hCG levels, but we were shocked to find out I had to have emergency surgery because my right tube was about to rupture. Unfortunately, from the time of my ultrasound that morning to the time of my surgery that afternoon, my right tube did rupture and it had to be removed. After trying for a year and finally getting pregnant, I still can't believe I now only have one tube to continue trying with. I keep asking myself how this could happen once we finally got a positive. I find myself crying randomly throughout the day. I keep trying to tell myself to see the positives and to believe that if we were able to get pregnant once we can get pregnant again. It's hard though because I had gotten so attached to this little baby.
