A good holiday destInation in the uk when 6-7 months pregnant

We would love a relaxing weekend break in July for our first wedding anniversary. I will be 6.5 months pregnant then and don't know what to expect in terms of how much travelling, exercise etc I'll be able to do. We are also saving our money for the baby so somewhere nice and cheap would be great. We live in the north west and would be travelling by train. Can anyone think of somewhere nice to potter about - eat some nice food, soak up the sunshine (hopefully) and just enjoy a bit of time together? At the moment I'm thinking of Brighton but somewhere a little closer to home might be better.

It's an international board. You might find more help on your local board. Many people aren't going to know the area you are taking about on this board. I'm originally from England, but live in the USA now. A great place is Norfolk or Suffolk, they have great cabins you can rent out. Super relaxing, and less busier than Brighton.

My husband is from Bournemouth and, as an American visiting, I thought it was a really nice beach town. Pretty gardens, lots of restaurants and a really nice pier. He also suggested Blackpool which might be a little closer to you, but I've never been so I can't really comment on that one. Have fun!

You could rent a cottage in Yorkshire dales for a few days or however long, or Cornwall has nice coasts
