How often do you feel your baby move?

I'm 30 weeks and I feel like my baby boy never sleeps. He is constantly moving all day and I can barely sleep at night because it feels like he is doing somersaults all night. Its the best feeling in the world to know he's okay but it's getting uncomfortable.

Ever since the other day when I was 28 weeks I've felt my little girl non stop all day, although she hasn't kept me up at night so I must be really exhausted or she's not as active then.

Some days it's non-stop, other days there's a lull during the day (my usual schedule is to be sleeping then, just not this week). I've found it really hard to pin down a pattern in order to find a best time to do kick counts.

Same here! Our LO bounces all day. I read online today that at 28 weeks baby will be taking sleeps at 20 minute intervals or so, I thought that sounded about right as I often don't go longer than that without feeling him wiggling around. I assume a dancing baby is a happy one!

Often. A lot. Sometimes there will be quiet periods, but it seems like its happening more than it isn't. Right when I wake up and in the evenings seem to be the most active, but it IS hard to pin down a time

All day long. As far as serious kicks / flips .. She cuts up like that every 2 hours.

It is uncomfortable at times and I feel guilty complaining but it really does get to be too much sometimes : /, complete opposite from my daughter

Quite a bit. I used to only feel him when I was resting, but nowadays I can feel him even when I'm standing - sometimes feels like he's trying to escape through my abdominal wall! I don't bother with kick counts at the moment because he's so active.

I'm 27 weeks. She moves off and on throughout the day. I usually feel her after eating, when I'm resting, when I listen to music, in the middle of the night when I wake up to pee or roll over. It's not a constant thing, but she's more of a mover than my son was. I'm sure it'll pick up in the months to come.

My lo is not as active;freaked out about it last night. Usually a big lull during the day. A nice trick if you get worried is to shine a flashlight on your belly near baby's head. As soon as my husband did it i immediately felt my boy move away from the light. It was very cute and a big relief.

My little man doesn't stop. He gets so aggravated when I cramp him or when something rests on my belly. I don't remember DD being this active or kicking so hard it hurt.

It's 1:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. I swear every time I lay down I feel him move.

At some times (typically after dinner, when I'm watching TV) it's so much movement and so strong, it's crazy uncomfortable. But then at other times during the day it will be very very subtle, or I will go some hours (or more) off and on throughout the day without feeling anything at all. I do have an anterior placenta, so that's worth mentioning.

A couple weeks ago I got the heartbeat checked out by a nurse because I noticed a dramatic decrease in movement and was worried. Everything was fine! He had just changed position. Now I realize I should have been careful what I wished for because I'm 29 weeks and he is moving around constantly and jabbing me, kind of uncomfortable to be honest. I could barely sleep last night. Baby movement is both a blessing and a curse!

All the time. He is super active. I love seeing my stomach move. Have you guys seen the Jimmy Kimmel joke on his aunt over the ultrasound? If not watch it. I joke he must be doing jumping jacks in there.

I'm with you! He can be flipping and making my whole belly move, but if I call DH over he goes completely still.

I am 27 weeks and my little girl has a schedule already. Her most active time is 4AM!!! LI call her my dancing diva, because when she starts boy she does not stop!!! It is the greatest feeling in the world to feel life inside me.

I'm 30 weeks too! My girl moves for a good portion of the day and night. She's more active when I first lay down at night, but I think it's because babies can tell which way is up at this point, and she needs to readjust herself when I've just turned her "house" on it's side.

I completely agree with you. Feeling her movements reassures me that she's still happy and healthy in there. Only ten more weeks 'til we get to meet our babies!!

On and off all day. He's really active in the evenings after dinner and around bedtime. He usually gives me a goodmorning nudge while I'm snoozing the alarm. Other than that, he can be pretty active all during the day or just some jabs here and there. I'm so busy sometimes I don't even notice I haven't felt him until he gut-punches me or something! Definitely ditto on the slight annoyance factor with all the movement. Sometimes it's just PAINFUL! But I know to be grateful and expect an active little boy in a few months!
