I found a place that is really good on paper, and I go meet the care provider tomorrow.
I already checked with TX DFPS for citations, and she's a mom on my AP list so I know she's already got a similar parenting style to myself and won't give me grief about sending BM with Hadley, is okay with cloth diapers, etc.
Is there anything specific I should ask her? If this works out she'll be picking up D on the mornings she goes, then I will get DD early afternoon. So I guess her driving record?
It's only for a few hours a day, 2 days a week if that matters.

I don't have any questions to add b/c you already know her parenting style and have done your background research ... but I thought this was too funny. I can't imagine someone giving you grief!
Maybe you could ask her for her SSN? My mother use to ask all my boyfriends for theirs ... really, she did.
My mom used to do the same thing! Too funny!
Re: BM- I was surprised to hear this but some centers don't allow you to send BM to the toddler rooms. Or formula for that matter.
Seriously?? The center we picked will not only let us send BM, but will also let us come in and nurse during the day if we want.
How weird!! I wonder what the reasoning behind that is? Totally odd!
My guess is when they were talking to you, they were only referring to the infant classroom. Most "Toddler" rooms do not allow BM, it's more trouble with the higher kid:teacher ratio, plus the risk of another toddler taking it etc. Can you imagine how ticked you'd be if you found out your kid was drinking someone elses breastmilk? I don't even like that Abby steals other kids graham crackers!
