I need opinions

So my SO fequently works out of town but is staying in town for the next 3 weeks in case the baby comes. He still is working, doing same jobs in town but does not get paid as much. Yesterday my doctor scheduled me for in induction for the 6th because of how big my baby is and her large head. Also because I am not dialating and she is not putting any pressure on my cervix. Ill be 39 weeks. So, when my SO went nd put his time off his boss asked him if he could go out of town next Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. He asked me and said it was totally up to me but we do need the Money. Im afraid he is going to miss the birth of our daughter if I do go into labor on my own. Plus if I do go into labor Ill have both of our daughters by myself, trying to get them to both of the sitters. My doctor said he does not think I will on my on but he also said that with my oldest and 12 hours after he said that I as holding her in my arms.

    Tough situation your in and sadly I don't have much advice to give besides go with your 'gut'.. its hard to predict if baby will make an appearance but regardless maybe sit down make a plan for both scenarios and weigh out the pros and cons...maybe this will help in your decision.. Good Luck!

    Your SO sounds like he has the same job as my husband.  We're dealing with a very similar situation, he took off to be home the week before my due date, the week of, and the week after just to be safe.  I'm due this Sunday.  So his last week home is next week, baby is showing no signs of coming anytime soon and my doctor won't induce until 41 weeks and 4 days- so it would be April 9th.  It's looking like my husband has taken three weeks off work and still may not be here for the baby.  I totally understand needing the extra money, but if we get the option to have him stay and not get paid we will take that.  If you can afford it I would say stay home!

    Thanks Ladies. I guess we decided he will go and his boss gave him permission to use this company card to get a plane ticket to rush back. I still dont like it but I guess all I can do is cross my fingers and pray.
