Does anyone else feel there baby's movement/kicking already?!

so with my first pregnancy I didnt feel a kick until 5 months, I'm laying here and it feels like my baby is rolling and kicking around in there !! I felt like 8 flutters in a row then a break and then again more!

I guess I'm wondering is it normal with having previous pregnancies?

Does anyone else feel there baby?

Is anyone else as excited as me?!!!! Lol

  • Hi! Yesterday I thought I felt some fluttering in there but i could have confused it with gas lol. But seriously I think i am feeling the baby, this is my second pregnancy and with my daughter I didn't feel anything until about four months or so. Congrats on your little one, I am 9 weeks and super excited as well!!!

I thought it was gas too!! But I just layed still and I kept feeling it! Congrats to you too , I'm 12 weeks
  • Felt something last week fluttering but my gas has been something serious tmi ... I figured it was that. I'll be 13 weeks on Friday
  • Yep, for about 3 days now! Fun stuff:-)

  • I thought I felt a few flutters in the middle of the night like 2 nights ago. I woke up and felt like a butterfly was fluttering against my lower left abdominal/uterus area. It only lasted a few seconds and went away. I fell right back asleep too lol.

I don't get gas bubbles that feel like fluttering. I just get straight up crippling gas pains so I can't compare it to gas bubbles and I definitely know what hunger feels like and it was nothing like that.

I'm only 11 weeks, 2 days and this is my first so it very well may have been nothing! I haven't noticed anything remotely similar since then!
  • It's gas.

  • If you're due in October baby is too small to feel anything

  • I am not one to be a downer. But the baby weighs less than an ounce at this point, and is 1" long. It's definitely not kicks.

  • They say you usually feel the first movements around 16 weeks.
  • Actually my doctor told me you can start feeling them earlier if you are in tuned with your body! Can't wait to feel those flutters again!

I felt the first flutters from my son at 13 weeks. I am 12 weeks and a couple days with this one, and I'm pretty sure I've felt a few flutters. It makes sense to me, because whether you feel it or not, baby is moving around furiously in there.

It's definitely not gas--that has a different feeling, like bubbles in my gut.

Yes, it's different from the actual kicks we'll feel later on, and it's pretty subtle--but that's what I'd expect from a 2-in long baby!

This is true, but there's an exception to every "usually." I'm a bit skeptical about feeling baby before about 13 weeks (I haven't personally experienced movement any earlier than that) but I wouldn't rule it out because every woman is different.

This was my experience. Again, I didn't feel anything until around 13 weeks and even then it was only once or twice when I was sitting absolutely still and not really thinking about or doing anything. In normal day-to-day life I didn't really notice those flutters regularly until around 16-18 weeks. It's a wonderful feeling and even better when you reach the point where the kicks become strong enough for your husband or significant other to feel them too! :)
    It's a boy! Born 42 weeks, 2 days.

  • Oh yes you can feel it... When I was only 9w 3d at my first offical OB appt, as she was doing the U/S sure nuff I felt a flutter, and she says... Oh look baby just moved for you!! I was like omg, I felt that! My friends think I'm Cray, but nope I know what I felt! I must say tho, if it weren't for me actually seeing my baby move, I would have thought it was something else myself!
  • Fyi: not saying it was kicking, but definitely movement.
