Good Morning J15, How are you all feeling? New symptoms, old symptoms, advice, gripes, and the like...Share it ALL here! I hope you are all doing well this Thursday!
As for myself, I had a rough time sleeping last night with DH having to pull an overnight shift. I literally got to see him for 20 minutes before he took me to work. I think I've become a codependent sleeper... I've only coughed twice this morning and other than a headache and being stuffy, I feel a bit better. Hopefully this means I really am almost over the sickies and don't have to worry about my cough causing me BH or to go into early labor. Hoping today goes by quickly so I can go home and spend time with DH. Also, I have chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream in the freezer that I am dying for.
@starrysmile18 I've been wondering about the movement thing myself. Although my LO is pretty active, I haven't actually taken a day to just monitor her movements and mark them out by time, but I highly doubt she moves on some perfect time schedule like they make it seem. I do panic if I go a long time without feeling her, but then again, how many of her movements am I not feeling because of placement or because I'm busy doing XYZ with the kids at work? I guess before I ramble on too much, I think we just have to trust our bodies to an extent and take precautions if it seems like something isn't right.
I followed my mom's suggestion last night of not drinking water an hour before bed and guess what - it worked, no more heartburn at night! I only have one night of that experiment under my belt so we'll see if that strategy continues to work but for now I'm pretty happy that I've found some way to mitigate that particular symptom. I also was super tired last night because I was up working on a paper, so I went to sleep as soon as I went to bed instead of watching Friends on Netflix with DH like I usually do, and it's crazy how well-rested I feel this morning. So maybe that's a habit that needs to be reconsidered too... I don't think I can totally do away with our Friends time, though, he and I have such busy schedules that that's really the only time that we actually spend doing something together during the week aside from eating dinner together. Maybe we just need to go to bed earlier.
I'm just back from a gp visit and asked about the movement (have been a little worried over the last few days) doc said not to worry as long as I'm feeling some movement (she said about 10 movemen ts a day at this stage - 28 wks) just what she told me - everyone is different as I know as you get further along a lot more movement should be noted... :-)
The tiredness is really kicking back in for me - hand in hand with the sleepless nights.... sigh... not feeling too bad in general though... :-)
Had my 28 week check up this morning. BP was up a smidge. Right now she just ordered an extra test, since they were already drawing blood for my GTT and asked me to keep an eye on it at home. I'm hoping it's just some of the extra sodium in the junk we've been eating this week.
I'm sleepy today, but that's not really new. Other than that, so far, so good. OB listened in on Fergus with the doppler as she does every visit. Apparently between the glucola and the doppler, Fergus was done with us today; got a nice big kick to the microphone. Couldn't see it, but I sure feel it, and we got a good "thunk" through the speaker. Kid's got spunk.
CRANKY!! And so grateful I can't reach through a computer screen and chokeabitch. (Not you ladies on this thread. I think you know my affinity for you by now.)
DH almost didn't survive my discovery of the empty Nutella jar in the pantry. Dude is amazing, but can't use the trashcan to save his life. Fortunately I scraped it dry, he stayed silent, and everyone can move on.
I swear I'm not like this. DH has to control his facial expression when I say that because sometimes his silence and eye contact is the wrong tone. But really. I am not usually like this.
I need a replacement spine stat. Ugh, so much pain! I got the all clear from my doc to take Tylenol PM so I'm looking forward to MAYBE a reasonable night of sleep!

Ugh, not sure what that is, but it sounds super enjoyable...

I have those days...I swear I'm usually mild mannered too but then I have times where I feel like my DH is looking at me in the wrong tone of voice (oh yeah) after I did something a smidge batty. Gotta love it....
Didn't sleep well again last night - I think this is going to be an ongoing thing from here on out. (:| Stomach and heartburn doing pretty good tho. Just a kinda of general discomfort, pretty much everywhere. I'd love to be able to crack my back, I guess a visit to the chiropractor is due soon
@frankengibbs - its a total drag. I don't have scoliosis, but I am a terrible sloucher and thus my posture is horrible. Having a front heavy belly is certainly not helping any. Hope you can find someone good to give you an adjustment!

It's Tylenol plus sleep aid, which is a-ok for pregnant women. I'm psyched! I also bought Zantac and a case of Gatorade. Best night ever!
I haven't had too many true pregnancy cravings, but oh my goodness. I NEED cheese fries right now. Like, greasy high school football game cheese fries.
ETA my WONDERFUL husband is currently on his way to Eat'n'Park to pick up my fries. Goodness, I married the best guy
Just tired today. I attempted my prenatal video but only made it 20 minutes. So ready for the weekend! Painters are supposed to come Saturday to paint the nursery, so I'm excited about that!
I'm feeling pretty good. Minion is moving around a lot. Sometimes it feels like he is kneeding me like bread dough which is a very weird feeling but it's nice to know he's still in there. We will see if he decides to have another 4 am dance party tonight... Lol!
Restless legs!!! Ugh!!! No fun at all. I'm also having pain in my lower back and hips. I'm totally looking forward to my prenatal massage tomorrow. I'm hoping it will give me some relief.
I just want to bitch & moan about my back pain. It's killing me! My physical therapist didn't even have much advice for me today. I'm trying a type of massage/adjustment called Bowenwork, which helps some but I can't get back in for another week. We are moving Saturday so all the packing & stress isn't helping any but gots to be done. Still throwing up sometimes & nauseous which is nice & indigestion & heartburn but nothing compares to this back pain! Ouch!

My Dr is totally against me going to the chiropractor I need to be popped!!
@starrysmile18 I feel like you should call your Dr. I had a checkup today and I had asked about aches and pains and she asked if I had pain in my upper belly or if I was worried at all about movement. So reading that you have both caught my attention because she seemed like she would be concerned if I had.

My upper belly has been sore. Almost like it's stretching it's sore... I don't know how else to explain it.
Also, this baby has been SUPER LOW. Like down by my pelvic bone and no where else. That's awesome.
I start worrying if I don't feel her once an hour, but is that really something to be concerned about?

About the movement. My doc told me as long as she moves 10 times with in 4 hours there's no need to worry.
