No Movement At 16 Weeks

Hi Mamas!

I will be 17 weeks on Monday the 30th and still have yet to feel any movement. We had an ultrasound at 15 weeks and Baby Martin was jumping around like crazy and heartbeat has been strong every time so I'm not too worried, but I am starting to get a tad anxious. I am a plus size first time mom as well and I've heard both of those can make first movements harder to feel. Anyone else still waiting?

    Me. I will be 17 weeks on Saturday and haven't felt anything yet. I just heard his heartbeat again on Monday but I can't wait to feel him moving around!

    I'm a 3rd time, plus size mom, 14w5d along and haven't felt movement yet. I'd say it's normal. I didn't document when I felt movement with my first two but I'm pretty sure it wasn't this early yet. It is such a cool feeling when it does happen though - especially when the baby is bigger! :)

    I felt one small movement but then hadn't felt anything and was worried too. I heard the heartbeat twice once I hit 16 weeks, but didn't have an ultrasound. Due to insurance I had to switch doctors and had my dating ultrasound yesterday at 16w3d- it was crazy to see the baby moving so much and not feeling it! I have an anterior placenta (just found out yesterday as well) meaning movement might take even longer for me to feel! I totally understand your anxiousness but I'm sure towards august/Sept we will be begging our little loves to stop with the late night dance parties! \:D/

    I am 14w 2d and was in with my doctor today.  She asked could I feel anything - No.  Apparently he was moving around like anything...  I never felt mine until 20+ weeks.  And then it was eating ice cream or spicy food  that helped me feel them.  Don't worry.  All will be fine :)

    I will be 17 weeks as well on Monday the 30th and also plus size. As far I know I have not felt anything either. I am also a first time mom so I'm not sure what to look for but I havnt felt anything that would seem like movement...hope it's comes soon! I don't get to see the little bub for 3 more weeks so the wait is killing me!
