  Yes and it is difficult to tell whether it is amniotic fluid or watery discharge. I had to go in for a test and it was not amniotic fluid.

  I had a PROM at 24 weeks around Christmas time. My symptoms were reduced movement, pressure and a dragging feeling, pain and of course a wetness of clear fluid in my underwear that came and went. All tests showed positive for a leak and I was given steroid shots for her lungs then transfered to a bigger hospital that could deal with very premature babies. Thankfully little one stayed out and we are heading into our 37th week. Last Saturday I went to the hospital again as I experienced the same wetting myself sensation over a 24 hour period on and off, it felt like a repeat of my previous experience. I went into be examined and thankfully all tests showed up negative and I was allowed go home. The point I'm trying to make is, always go in and get your symptoms checked out as you can never be too safe in these situations. And you'll save yourself a lot of worry.   Unfortunately, the only way you'll get a definitive answer is if you get the fluid tested.
  I wish they had home tests for this.

  I had the same problem at 36wks. Ended up at the hosp they did a quick swab and it was discharge but it was worth going in just in case.

  I'm 38 + 5 and I am wondering the same thing. I think it's an amniotic fluid leak but who knows... I'm not having contractions. I have my regular check up in about an hour so I am holding out on calling.
