How are NT scans going ladies?

Had my NT scan today and everything was great, a bit crazy watching the baby flip and move all over the place and it looks like a baby! Not a little bean! How did you go?? Photos?

My scan was today too! It went great! We found out we're having a boy! He couldn't wait to show us his goods

He's measuring a few days ahead and everything looked "perfect" according to the tech. Couldn't ask for more!

I had mine 2 weeks ago, sono and measurments came back fine! I got a call today saying my blood work came back and I'm at an "elevated risk" and was asked to come back in next Wednesday to talk with the doctor. They wouldn't give me a ratio or any other info over the phone. Been freaking out and bawling since!!! I should have never got this test. Any other ladies have this happen??

@megkaz07 sorry you are going through this- I think that's awful that they wouldn't give you more information until your next appt. My bloodwork came back ok, but the ultrasound tech didn't see a nasal bone for either twin. My dr didn't seem concerned but google has not been my friend. So I'm very nervous til my next apt as well, and I also feel like I shouldn't have had the test. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Google is Def not my friend! I just don't understand why they couldn't give me anymore info besides the sono was fine and that the blood work was off! Now I will.worry myself sick until next Wednesday at 245pm. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

Had mine last week at 13. Scan looked great (surprisingly the u/s tech was extremely talkative talking to us about the kindney and stomach functions as well as the nasal and neck. Still waiting on bloodwork but all measurements were normal.

Got a call early this am the doctor had a cancelation so we go in at 930 this morning to talk to the doctor about my.blood test results. Thanks for all the support ladies!

I had the scan 2 days ago still need to go for the blood work. I don't know if I want to do it now. The tech said my doc will have my results in 2-3 days they aren't allowed to tell you more than that.

Our NT scan was not good. Our baby has a sac of fluid in the back of the neck, greater than is normal . We did our cvs which came back with not chromosomal abnormalities. But the sac has continued to grow and we are devastated and praying for a miracle. We don't want to loose our miracle baby and certainly don't want the little one to suffer. Everything we've read and the odds look very bleak . Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Did they give you the MaterniT21 test?
My friends is pregnant too and is a week further along than I am.Her NT scan showed fluid on the back of the neck greater than the normal range.They gave her the T21 test and had to wait 2 weeks for the results but they were able to tell her exactly what was wrong.

I got the NT scan and first trimester screening as well a week after her but did not get the MaterniT21 test because my scan was ok BUT one of the blood samples they take tests for PAPP-A and <0.35 is considered low,mine is in the 5 percentile and from what I've read problems don't occur until around 20 weeks.Still waiting on a call from my OB,should be hearing from her today.

How many weeks were you when you got the NT scan? They've been doing all kinds of bloodwork on her and her hubby.She has a scan Tuesday to see if the fluid is still there and whether or not it has gotten worse.

Praying for everyone who didn't get the results they were hoping for. My doc suggested not getting these tests if it wouldn't change our decision. Abortion isn't for me so I knew if something were wrong it would just stress me out the rest of my pregnancy and that's not good for the baby. Also just to clarify, I don't have any strong feelings about abortion (not for or against), I just know I couldn't do it. Hoping some of these results are false positives. I've heard that can happen with these tests.

@Megkaz07 any update? Everything ok?

Thank you @awsmallz . We did the cvs following th nt and are now waiting for the results of our microarray and our latest blood panel. Will keep everyone posted. We are trying to stay strong and positive .
