I'm nervous too, I'll be induced Monday if baby doesn't come this weekend. Especially after reading the recent pitocin thread, I'm hesitant. But at this point my new birth plan is: get this baby out of me as healthy as possible! So long as he is healthy, I will endure whatever labor path comes my way
I was interested with my first and it wasn't to bad. Just long and I wasn't started on the meds tell 9pm at night. So didn't sleep for more than 24 hours. That was the really hard part of it all. My labor was 13 hours from start of meds to when she was out. I will most likely be included this coming week to if this little girl don't get going asap
I was induced last Saturday and it was a good experience. I had a "quick" labor of about 10 hours as opposed to labor with my first which was 27 hours after my water broke (ultimately I had some pitocin with that labor when things didn't progress). The only draw back was that I couldn't get up and walk around as much but that was also due in part to needing antibiotics for strep B. If given the option I would do it all again. Don't worry!
