Crawling?

My daughter is 7 months and I just thought she would be crawling by now..she was born at 33 weeks 3 days so a month and a half premature but at her last appointment doctor said she is now the average size for her age:-) she constantly flips on her belly to move her feet but really does not go anywhere, sort of swimming in place... Where are your LO's at this point?

    Mine is similarly rolling around, but not crawling yet. If I help her push up, she's now drawing her knees directly under her, so I imagine in another week or so, we might get the first few hesitant wiggles. She has strong legs, but hates pushing up on her arms. I'm hoping once she realizes it will make her mobile, she'll find the motivation to do those push-ups and get moving!

    My LO does an army crawl! And he is fast!! I have to constantly watch him. He is starting to really push with his feet. I think he will be crawling in the next week or 2. He also loves standing up! Gosh, I wish he would slow down

    Our guy is pulling up onto all fours and mad he can't move yet! Totally normal if they can't crawl yet. Seven months is still on the early end of the normal range :)

    I wouldn't be worried that your LO isn't crawling, our son is 7 months also and is not crawling. He rolls like crazy but not crawling. Our friends have a 10 month old daughter who is progressing normally with no sorts of delays and still does not crawl. I've heard lots of people say their infants skipped crawling and went straight to walking.

    Not close to crawling yet and we'll be 7 months on the 4th. When on his tummy he seems to be trying to push a bit with his legs but I don't think he's anywhere near getting the hang of it. I go to lots of baby groups and most seem to get the hang of some sort of mobility at 8-9 months.

    My little one is a human rollie pollie!! He does an army crawl thing to change directions. He's starting to use legs but not at the same times as arms. So his face is flat in floor and butt in the air and he's pushing with legs hahaha. He's also gripping to pull self up buuuut he has a ways to go with that. I'm thinking of getting one of them play circles like the Rugrats. He's everywhere!

    Thanks Everyone for the responses! I feel a lot better now knowing that she's just moving at her own pace and other babies are at the same stage as she is

    My dd is not even sitting up yet. She is trying to crawl and rolls around but no sitting yet.

    My LO crawls literally everywhere! Your baby will be everywhere soon too! A friend once told me that all kids walk talk and eat by 5 anyways so never to worry :)

    My little guy likes to scoot backwards and looks like he want to crawl but just rocks back and forth on all 4 points. When he does try to move he ends up on his belly and looks like he is swimming! I think I will try him in the pool soon!

    Not crawling but showing some very early signs! I hang out with a big group of babies and most started army crawling around 8 months so I feel like we have some time still.
