Posterior Cervix

Im 38 wks was checked Monday and I was told I'm 60 to 70% effaced and only 1 cm dilated but my cervix was hard for the nurse to find because it still was towards the back and it has to come down, anyone else have a problem similar to this

Had this at 36 weeks. Mine was due to my bladder being full and in the way.

I went to the ER Sunday for very painful contractions and the nurse actually said to keep my bladder empty

Mine was posterior! Sit with your legs open or sit on all fours when you can. Baby sometimes doesn't become anterior (forward) until you are actually in labor so no worries!

Oh, i'm 36.5 but was posterior at my check last week and am anterior now.

I'm 38 weeks a finger tip dialated and 25 effaced. And also said my cervix was still towards the back
