Baby facing my spine/back

Went in for our 3d/4d ultrasound today and couldn't get any pictures because our little girl is head down but facing my back:( Does this mean she will show up early? I'm only 31 weeks!

I went for 3d/4d ultrasound Saturday and my LO is facing my spine but still feet first. They still have lots of time to flip all kinds of different ways so it doesn't mean ur LO is coming early! I asked OB and she told me they could flip up until hours before you give birth!!

We tried our 3d at 31 weeks and she was breech and facing my spine so we didn't get any good pictures. Thankfully they let us come back this past weekend at 32 weeks for free and now she is somewhat head down in the pike position near my hip and we were able to get some good ones. They tend to move around a lot until about the last month so I wouldn't worry too much.

I'm pretty sure that is the ideal positioning for your baby??? Am I missing something.

You are correct it is the correct position! I just didn't know it would happen this early and if it meant she would come early!!!! And was just wondering if she would still turn

....positioning has nothing to do with her coming early. That's your cervix. And uterus.

The more your baby is in that position the better. It just means that is what's comfy for them. It has nothing to do with when baby will come. That is random.

My LO has been in that same position since 27 weeks. It has no indication on early delivery.

I am 32 weeks and at my us yesterday baby is head down, dr said its not any indication of coming early.
