I am sitting at my RE's office for a beta draw again, praying it's below 5 today so that we can proceed with RPL labs. Then it's meetings, meetings, meetings this week with some local travel for work tossed in. I do have counseling, acupuncture and an appointment for Botox scheduled this week as well. I hope everybody has a great one!

well I had a craptastic weekend. Just blah as hell, H and I fought last night over stupid stuff, I made a dress and then promptly ruined it by having the iron too hot and burned a hole in it, I'm in last place in march madness pool that I run, and had no interesting plans. Blah. It sucked.

But on the positive side, today is a new day. This week is parent teacher conferences, so it means we get out at 1:05 every day and since I do 8th grade, we don't hold conferences for them unless they are failing, which means I should have a lot of time work on my final unit of the year. So that's great. And then it is spring break. Squeee! 5 days, I can make it!

Hope you had better weekends than I did.

I'm sorry you burned a hole in your dress. Was it totally ruined or was it in a place you could repair?

My week has started pretty good. I have been venting about DH not being into sex, well last night he actually took the initiative and popped a cialis. I was shocked but I'm so happy he did it. I was getting upset that he didn't want sex anymore.
The only bad thing ( I think it's kinda funny though) he kept getting erections during the night that woke him up. But the good news is he says he is up for sex again tonight. I'll take it!!!!! Too bad I'm pretty sure this won't be baby making sex. I'm just happy he wants me.

The rest of my week is quiet. I will be packing for our Florida trip. We leave next Thursday. But I need to find the summer clothes do I will do that now.

I used to love conferences because I was resource room and many parents chose to skip, even when I would team up w/gen ed which is sad but I got tons of paperwork done.

Well it's my birthday. Another year of TTC has come and gone. Normally I love my bday but I feel like I just have older eggs. It's also DHs bday so I gotta be nice. We got in a huge argument about Ivf and it has me concerned. Even though we were on the same side, the cost is insane and it is causing stress. Anyway, we will see what the RE says at our orientation.

Happy Birthday @kindershlitz !! Hope you and your DH have a great day and can put your stress aside to celebrate!

My week looks okay, but I am waiting to hear which day(s) I will be sitting on the stand with a woman in a Jury Trial. It's a horrific, you can make this shit up, kind of story about child molest which resulted in children by her mother's husband. But her mother is not her really her bio-mother. This woman paid off a prostitute that had become pregnant with her husband so that she could have the baby. She feigned a whole pregnancy and conveniently went into labor when she was "out of town." Anyway .. should be interesting. Because they are charging both the step-dad and the "mom", there will be a double jury. We'll see how it goes.

Thankfully I only have 15 minutes left in this work day from hell! I don't have a wonderful feeling about this week.. My little cousin who is basically like my sister is having surgery tomorrow to repair a broken leg and I'm worried about her.. Wednesday we have our IVF timing consult to work out the time frame and my DH has another appointment with his dr. to check the sperm again.. The end of the week should be better but than this weekend is all about babies! UGH.. Cousins baby shower and good friends daughters first birthday.. If i drank, I would need 10 bottles of wine!

I woke up with a massive headache today. That means AF is coming right on schedule.

I have a huge busy week ahead of me. I booked another 5 births in the last week and one of them is in labor NOW. Im typing this right now knowing that call is coming in a couple hours most likely. Another over nighter just like the first one. Its all good! I have 4 sessions to edit this week and 3 more consults and a newborn session.

If anyone wants to see the first session I did there is a video slide show. I know someone had asked me. It is potentially a trigger so fair warning. It is beautiful and i think no matter what if i ever conceive this is the path of my career no matter how potentially painful it could be. I do love it.

@kindershlitz - happy birthday!!! I know how you feel about getting older while ttc. I have always loved birthdays too and embraced each new year. But it has been a little tough the last few -- first time i have ever really felt my age was an issue.

Big week for me. I leave for 'the big city' on Wednesday and have my baseline ivf appt on Thursday. First part of the week just super busy at work and home getting ready to be gone for a while. The prepayments for the arc package and meds are hitting my account early this week too so mostly feeling anxious about that part. Not so much about the medical aspects - i think i am doing ok with those aspects.

I will be staying with a mix of family and friends while there. I am looking forward to the first few days staying with a good friend who coincidentally is also going through fertility treatments.

@KirstenAlecia I am in awe of what you did. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
This is such a beautiful thing you can give mothers. You remember those tiny moments for such a short time. You captured them all.

Ugh my week is frustrating now.
My dishwasher needs a new gasket but of course they don't sell just a gasket you have to buy the entire top rack. So now I'm stuck paying $65 for a &1 gasket. Such a waste of materials.
Oh and my coffee maker is on the fritz also. Took me 20 minutes to brew a 10oz cup of coffee this morning. Gotta tinker around with that now too.
My husband wants to just go out and buy new but if it's something I can fix I do it. I hate adding to our landfills.
I'm a tree hugger at heart.
