Earlier today I was held gun point by some phyco man who was looking for an escape vehicle. I go to culinary school in arizona (graduating this may).
As I was making the potato chips, i heard somebody enter the building. I looked back to see if it were one of my class mates coming in late. It wasn't it was a man that looked like he's in his 40's came in and was saying "hello!" To get somebodys attention, something in my head told me "just keep on working, dont go near him!" I continued working, knowing one of my peers would help him out. I overheard him order an iced tea, he paid for it and he asked the girl who rung him up "hey is that your car out there?" She politely said "no i take the bus." A few seconds later, my other classmate who is a 20 year old male appoached the customer with a welcoming greeting. He was talking to the man, then next thing i knew I heard my classmate yell "everyone get down!!! Get out of here!!" Then i heard multiple gunshots go off. I looked and looked back, the man was walking my way pointing the gun at my face demanding for my car keys, I told him "i dont drive!!! I dont even know how to drive!!" Of course i lied, because my father let me take his vehicle to class.. he then pointed in to the girl in front of me and he started to yell and he had the gun pointed at her. I knew, that was my chance to get me and my baby out of there. I ran outside to find my instructor on the phone, calling the police. I told my instructor that man has the gun pointed at my classmate. I then heard the man come out of the building, i started running away from the area as fast as i could. As i was running, i tripped on a curb and fell flat of my hands and knees. I twisted my ankle, i seriously though i got shot in the ankle but i saw i didnt. I layed there for a few seconds, then i heard the mans voice getting closer and closer i then pushed myself to get up and run and hide behind the nearest car. I then heard him take off in my instructors vehicle. I started to make my way back to the resturant to see that my classmate who got shot went to go walk down the road to get medical attention.
I am very blessed and thankful that my classmates and me and my baby is ok. They got custody of the suspect, i really hope that man gets what he deserves.
