Today I'm having some odd cramping down low. I thought it may be gas, but I dunno. It doesn't feel like RLP's as I've had many of those, and not usually that far down. Baby girl has been moving, so that's reassuring.
Also, I think I'm getting a cold as my throat's been hurting for several days. Gah!
I feel like I've been skating by up til now- no symptoms besides some trouble sleeping and itchiness. But last night in the middle of the night I got the worst heartburn. Almost made me throw up. Fingers crossed it was a one time thing :-S
Had some crap RLP last night also coupled with heartburn. Could've been worse. Nesting like a MF today though. I don't clean (period) and I've cleaned the entire apartment. My husband will probably pass out when he comes home..

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Realized I haven't been feeling movement for a bit, starting to worry but not wanting to panic. I'm trying the "eat a meal and sit still for a couple hours" thing to see if anything happens. If not, I'm calling the Dr.
@MamaBish, I had one of those moments last weekend. On top of that, my 50 lb kid kicked me earlier the evening before, so I was extra worried. I went in, they gave me super cold apple juice and monitored baby for 30 mins. I have an AP too, so that's part of the issue. Baby was good, and they sent me home. They said 1 hr and 5 movements after eating or drinking. Hope your LO starts moving soon!
Tired. What I thought was the hubs being a total wimp about a hangover was actually him with a bad stomach flu that had been making the rounds at his work. Spent the day yesterday at the ER getting him hydrated with an IV suped up with anti-nausea medications. Then running around town filling his prescriptions and getting some stomach friendly fluids and foods (Gatorade, ginger ale, broth, etc). All after working till 2am Sunday morning, getting up around 7am to start the whole ER drama, and again getting up at 6am today to return him to the origin of the outbreak, his work, for the next 2 days.
Baby girl is sitting really high today and yesterday-it's been uncomfortable every time I go to sit down. Going to the gym here shortly to work out, and hopefully being active will get her to change position a bit. Seriously, I almost want to barf everytime I sit down from standing up it's that bad.
@MamaBish-keep us updated-you will hopefully be ok! And @mellymar I hope you don't get that stomach flu either!
Woke up kind of woozy and just thought it was because I didn't sleep well and needed to rehydrate. Get to work and of course diarrhea began...and as you preggers know that's the opposite of what we've been dealing with!! My husband begged me to call the doctor (I never should have allowed him to read TheBump pregnancy book!) Seems like I just have a bug - not pre-term labor like my husband was concerned about. Now i'm just trying to get through my day so I can get home and rest. I hope you guys feel better!
sooooo tired! I know i woke up a couple times last night but what made matters worse was I had a dream that I slept badly too. In the dream it was due to DH getting out of bed several times and snoring so I got out of bed and moved my snoogle and pillow onto the floor (all in my dream not in real life). So when my alarm went off, i caught major attitude with DH and told him he's impossible to sleep next to and the poor guy didn't do anything wrong last night. lol so i had to apologize after i had time to think in the shower. These dreams need to stop being so realistic.
Somehow, baby is positioned so that every time she kicks me up at the top of my abdomen near my ribs, she also is somehow moving onto my bladder, meaning that every time she kicks I feel like I have to pee. I have no idea how she must be laying in there to accomplish this but, as much as I love her kicks, I'd appreciate it if I didn't feel like I need to go to the bathroom every 2 minutes! Oh, third trimester... you are gearing up to be every bit as fun as everyone warned me you would be!
Since yesterday I've had non stop kicking and movments. Really big ones too! Feeling pain under my one breast which dr said is from everything expanding. Cleaned the house today and now I'm exhausted!
Today I've been experiencing really weird pain in my side and radiation to my front - kind of like a stitch that you can get during a run or something. I'm not worried or anything because if there's one thing I've learned to expect over the past 5 or so months it's weird aches and pains!
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did any specific stretches help alleviate the discomfort?
Still hope full that I'm towards the end of this gross cough.I had a moment of panic because I didn't feel much movement last night and this morning so when I got the chance to sit I drank some cold juice and did some deep breathing and started to feel LO's kicks again which are lower (like in my pelvic region) than normal so I think maybe she has just moved to a different position. Felt a wave of naseau off and on this morning so I hope the rest of the day goes by quickly so I can paint my nails and relax with my DH at home.
Had to run for a train a few days ago, and my groin has been hurting since, on both sides. Stretches aren't really helping, but it's not too bad. Stupid question: when pregnant ladies say their hips hurt, is it the outer hip?
Was thinking the other day: overall, I mostly feel really good. Yet each day, I can tally my symptoms, and an outsider would look at them and think I must be miserable (heartburn, rib pain, sleep issues...). So am I more miserable than I realize, or giving more thought to my "symptoms" than I need to? ;-)
Like a few PP I also had a few days of decreased movement. I have an anterior placenta but I'd been feeling and seeing him move often and from Fri-Sun he just wasn't moving much and when he did it felt very muffled or faint. He's a lot more active today so I'm thinking it was just the position he was in. Also at almost 30 weeks I'm thinking baby is running out of room so his movements are more flipping and stretching instead of the kicks and punches he used to have the room to wind up and deliver!
I'm exhausted today after a night of extremely strange dreams. I treated myself to a giant waffle cone from Marble Slab today after work though...I've definitely been craving ice cream lately!
I think I might be stressing a bit. I have been so calm this whole pregnancy but ever since third trimester hit I feel very stressed. I feel like there is so little time left before minion comes and so much to do! Like I slept last night but even then my mind was racing through my to do list in my sleep!
At one point today my heart was racing. I went to the nurse at my office and my blood pressure was fine but my pulse was elevated. So I got to take the portable blood pressure cuff home with me to try again tonight and then follow up with my doctor if needed. I'm feeling better now so I think I just had a really stressed out moment. I think I will do some mellow yoga tonight to try and chill.
I had a very small amount of brown discharge (ew TMI I'm sure) and it had me all in a panic. Called the nurse and she said it was nothing to worry about and that I must have just irritated my cervix. The little guy has been a party animal in there so his movements makes me relax a bit. Trying to forget it and not stress!
At one point while I was walking to work I had terrible lower right side pain. I'm hoping it adds up to RLP cause it hurts so much to walk. And I've had a few Braxton hicks contractions and it seems that no matter how much water I drink over the course of the day I always feel dehydrated.

While I can't speak for everyone, when I talk about my hips hurting, it's my inner hip/groin area - basically the joint, I believe. It's no fun! Hope you feel better soon!
My hips hurting are outer hips- pressure from having to sleep on my side. I have a small waist and wide hips so laying on my side puts so much pressure on them that I constantly switch sides through the night and wake up with them feeling like I slept in a vice.
My little guy is not comfortable or something. He moves so much its crazy. I can't even rest my arm on my belly without disturbing him or something. It's like he doesn't like being messed with.
Good news Is I had a pregnant nurse today and she saved me!!! Not only did she call in a Dr that actually made sense and knew how to handle my situation, she had me set up for outpatient iv treatment so I don't have to stay in the hospital. Woohoo!!! I'm home and my poor veins get a break (the meds blew 9 of them). Thank goodness she felt bad for me because they weren't even going to consider checking me out until next week.

Pretty much this, except I don't consider myself to have a 'small' waist. It's not as wide as my hips, sure, but it carried a beer gut before it carried a baby.
@devyns2nd glad to hear you are home and that things are seem under control. Yay for sympathetic nurses!

Other than that minion is just squirming away!

Unrelated- already in bed and fiancé and puppy are asleep. But I am STARVING. To get up and snack or try to sleep?? Tis the question.
