Gender dreams - team green

Anybody else having these? They seem to be getting more frequent now (8 dreams of a boy, 1 of a girl). They are really tapping into my curiosity and doing my head in. I'm just wanting to find out now but we shall wait.

Anybody had these dreams on previous pregnancies? What did you keep dreaming and what did you end up having? Were your dreams accurate?

Re: Gender dreams - team green

  • Ooh, I so wanna hear the answers to this! I'm also Team Green and have not yet had a dream about the baby's sex. DH has had a few, 2 of a girl and 1 of a boy that I know of, but none (that I remember) for me.

  • I think these dreams are so interesting! We know the sex but before we did people kept asking if I had any dreams..... I had absolutely zero dreams!
  • Dreams are so very annoying. Haha such a tease.. It's my husband that decided on team green not me so I've always wanted to know and this is jut a tease
  • I've had three dreams and it's been a boy every time. Can't wait to find out!
  • I had dreams only in the first trimester and they were all of girls. Haven't had a single one of the baby since..11-ish more weeks until I'll find out!

  • No dreams, but I definitely have a hard time envisioning this baby being anything other than a boy. Could be because that's all I know... but I'll be really surprised if it's a girl.

  • we are team green, but I did have a dream the other night the baby is a boy. Probably because that is what every. single. person. who sees me tells me that's what I'm having. this is my first, so I can't help with whether it's true or not until mid-June :)

  • I had a boy dream before I was pregnant and since then I've had at least 3 or 4 boy dreams. The last dream about baby was a girl dream and my husband and I couldn't agree on her name.

I can't wait till June to find out!!!! I'm so excited!
  • I did read somewhere that 70% of the time, mom has a gut feeling about what's in there, and she is right. For a long time I felt it was a girl, then I leaned towards boy for probably 2 months, and I'm leaning back towards girl again. Wish I would have a dream!!!
Ahhh, ladies... The excitement is so deliciously frustrating!!! Ahhh!!!

I keep saying the same thing (but about a girl)! I absolutely have no preference (100% the truth I am just praying for healthy) but I will be very surprised if this baby comes out with a penis. And I have no "oh no do I not have mother's intuition?" if I'm wrong. Just excited to finally find out!

  • I haven't had any dreams since being pregnant. When I first started dating my DH I dreamt we had a little girl who looked like my sister. Three years later we had our little girl who looks like my sister. After I had dd I would dream about having two sons. I already had one 10 years older than dd so when I became pregnant with this one I knew it was a boy. My DH thought we were for sure going to have another girl and I told him I wouldn't be to sure. After genetic testing and ultrasounds we are for sure having our second son.
  • With DD I had all girl dreams (we were team green) and she's a girl. This time I also had only girl dreams and could never picture us w a boy...and it's another girl :)

According to Old Wives tales.... You have the opposite sex from what you are dreaming about.... This is completely based in science so it should help you figure it out :)

    Completely based in science. Absolutely.
    ;)

I know my sister when she first found out she was pregnant had a dream that night or the next that it was twins, a boy and a girl, and that's what it was.

  • Team Green here and have had several girl dreams. Felt like it was a girl for the longest time, but the past month or two, have started wondering if maybe it isn't a boy. Can't freaking wait to find out! It's a temptation every single doctor's visit (Germany loves ultrasounds - I've had 7 so far, plus anatomy scan).

Isn't weird what a Thing this is right now, and then won't even be a consideration in LO's life from moment 1? (Not sure if I'm explaining that well...)

I have no intuition/instinct on what this baby may be.. At the start I thought it was a girl, 20 week scan I thought maybe a boy and now I just have no idea.

Yes you're right about that, that's a perspective I'm trying to keep about everything with this baby. In 10 years time am I/society really going to care if I couldn't breastfeed? If I use disposable nappies? If the baby doesn't sleep through at 6 weeks
Old? All this stuff that we put so much pressure on ourselves in the long
Run doesn't actually matter at all.
