So after being in l&d triage last night and being sent home, my doctor sent me for an ultrasound today. Ultrasound showed low amniotic fluid, so I was admitted straight to antepartum. Level 2 ultrasound was done, and it showed oligohydramnios as my AFI was less than 5 and IUGR as baby's abdominal circumference is only in the 3rd%ile. Her anatomy is otherwise perfect - she is just really small and needs fluid. Admitted to L&D antepartum for the foreseeable future according to my OB, but that is pending the opinion of the maternal fetal medicine doctor who is coming to see me tomorrow morning. Hoping for more answers then. As for now, getting steroids, lots of IV fluids and lab work.
Just needed a place to write all this down. I have been a sparse poster since week 5 of my pregnancy, but cannot tell you ladies how much reading this forum has helped me throughout this pregnancy.

Proud Mama to cleft cutie
Talked to the high risk doctor - I officially have PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) due to really high protein in my 24 hr urine. However my blood pressure is still normal. Baby's fluid is still low and she's really small (IUGR/intrauterine growth restriction small) but otherwise she looked great on the biophysical profile ultrasound and the 40 min of monitoring she gets every night and morning. The PIH bought me a sentence of hospital bed rest and monitoring until delivery. First goal is 34 weeks - my blood pressure and labs have to stay normal or okay and baby has to continue to be a tiny rockstar. If everything goes as well as it possibly could I will be induced or c sectioned at 37 weeks.
Thank you to everyone sending thoughts and prayers our way - they are much appreciated!!
