Goldilocks bed situation

I am 27 weeks with twins and cannot get comfortable anymore. I've tried body pillows, different positions, everything! My memory foam bed is too soft and my belly sinks. Our spare room bed is too hard and pushes against me. So I have been sleeping on the couch the past few nights

Re: Goldilocks bed situation

  • You can occasionally take tylenol pm. or request flexeril from your ob. It's a muscle relaxer you can take daily, but my mw said really at this point all its gunna do for me is make me sleepy enough to fall asleep. I nap a lot on the couch just because I know my bed is SO uncomfortable lately :(

  • Im only having one and im the same way.. Its no fun. And once i FINALLY fall asleep... I wake up every hour to toss and turn.
  • It is extremely uncomfortable to sleep in our bed too and lately I've resorted to sleeping on the couch and I manage to usually get around 7 hours of sleep.  I feel guilty about sleeping anywhere other than our bed, but my husband and family has said that I need to go anywhere that's comfortable.

If only I could sleep all night long without having to get up 3 times to pee!
  • right there with ya in same boat with twins. Some nights I get lucky and sleep at an angle propped up by pillows in my bed. But other nights I got to couch cuz bed hurts my hips. From what I hear these last weeks will be tough. Good luck!
  • This may sound bad, but I refuse to sleep on the sofa because then I have to heave myself up the stairs to the lol every hour haha. Lazy or what!
