It's my first pregnancy I'm 4 months my bump just came out but I need help with maternity clothes secrets. I bought the band my jeans still fit and zip they dont button thats the reason i got the band. I bought my first maternity shirt at Target. It was $10 on discount and it says it will last the whole 9 months. I was wondering if they're any other stores I should g to. I'm not trying to spend a whole lot of money but also I want clothes that will be comfy or where i should go look for clothes.

Do you live near a Kid to Kid store? They sell lightly used maternity clothes. Otherwise I'd try Old Navy or Motherhood. You can usually find promotion codes online for discounts. I also purchased some yoga pants from Kohls in a size larger that I love.

I got jeans online at old navy for $15. I think the band is horribly uncomfortable but they fit the best everywhere else. Luckily, my handy mom is cutting it out and sewing in the belly band from target. So, about $30 jeans when it's all done but so comfortable.

I suggest browsing the thrift stores, checking out kids resale stores sometimes they have maternity clothes there too. Also try buying a larger size rather than something labeled maternity. When it comes to pants though and bottoms I found the jeans with the soft stretchy nylon top that can go up to right under your boobs is really comfy, some like those, others like the ones with just a thick elastic band. Motherhood can get expensive, there is a website called pinkblushmaternity.com and they are always having flash sales, discounts, and clearance. Their regular prices aren't too bad either and I'm always getting coupons in the email. Most importantly, find some key pieces that you can wear over and over, like capris, shorts and a pair of pants. That way you can just mix and match tops and opt for some flowy summer type dresses that can also be worn after baby.

Maternity pants are awesome. I love the full panel ones, get at least one good pair of those you can wear the heck out of. Sometimes you can get away with regular tops just in a size up. I have quite a few tops from the maternity brand Duo from JCP and they all held up extremely well through lots of washing and will be worn this time around too. Also since we're going into warmer weather, stretchy maxi dresses are great and can be paired with cardis you already have to make them work appropriate.

Right now I have been buying non-maternity shirts that can work with a bump. They have many cute tops at Urban Outfitters. That way, I will wear them after pregnancy too. I have a feeling I will not want to wear maternity specific tops post pregnancy, but I would wear non-maternity tops that just so happen to work with a bump!

I love the demi panel Liz Lange maternity jeans I got at Target. About $35, super comfortable, and actually really cute. Otherwise I've gotten mostly size-up stuff Old Navy (tends to be boxy anyway) and a good pair of side-panel Old Navy denim shorts that I like a lot.

I just went to Kohls and they had 50% off of maternity tops, and they were super cute. I spent less than 20 dollars and got 4 short sleeve T-shirts- 2 with little polka dots and 2 striped!

Try some on. I prefer demi panel to full panel. I like Gap for jeans and work pants, Old Navy for shirts, and the occasional item from Motherhood.

I've been getting my shirts from Macy's. They always have sales and have the Motherhood brand but not as expensive because of the sales

Download the Mama app on your phone. It's a sister app to wish. Takes a few weeks for clothes to ship because most of them come from China or Korea. But their clothes are way cuter than anything I've found in the US. And it's all super cheap. They also have cute baby clothes and toys and stuff for toddlers. I might be addicted.

I've been shopping at Ross and Burlington. I also checked out Macy's and Belk, but I really was not wanting to spend that much on clothing I will wear for less than a year. If you are not opposed to purchasing second hand clothing, you can also check out https://www.thredup.com. It is an online consignment shop, so you can shop brands that you are familiar with and already like, or try new ones.

pinkblushmaternity.com has great deals, current trends and soft fabrics. Hatch.com is expensive but the best for style, a few staples or special occasions. Asos.com for more staples. I like target too. Not crazy about motherhood or pea in the pod but every now and then I see something I like. Gap and old navy are decent.

I go resale shops all the way! You save a ton of money on gently used clothes. You can find really nice pieces from all of the expensive stores for a few dollars. Save your money for when that new baby comes.

I just found out about an online shop. Thredup.com I just got my first package in on Friday. It's basically an online consignment. The stuff is all in great condition. I wouldn't have guessed it was used. First order had $10.00 off just because it was my first purchase. Ill be searching there a lot. A lot of name brand stuff. I even got some kids clothes for my daughter for summer. I was able to get 4 maternity shirts, 1 pair of maternity pants and 3 girls dresses for under $100.00. They will also tell you right on the site if the particular item you are interested in is returnable or not, just in case you get it and it doesn't fit!

Other than that I love Old Navy and Motherhood Maternity, but I only shop there if they are having a sale or I have great coupons. Target was great for pieces but I always had to be picky because some things would get pulling really quick, and it made it feel weird against my skin. Good Luck!

I usually wear a small bottom and medium top. I got a large size maxi skirt and extra large tank tops from Walmart that will last me thru the rest of my pregnancy. They're cheap in price ($12.88 for the skirt & $3.97 for the tank tops), and they are SUPER comfortable!!! The skirt is VERY soft and I don't feel constricted in my waist. And there's PLENTY of room to grow in the shirts and skirts! Hope this helps!!!

My advice is to get nice clothes...I bought cheap ones with my first (target) and regret it. If you'll have another baby it will be worth it! Try Gap (very classic and won't go out of style) or old Navy. I bought Motherhood Maternity this time and LOVE the products. Holy expensive, though!!!

Maxi skirts with a belt and a denim jacket makes for a really cute look. They work really well wearing them as a dress. Esp if you're short. I don't know how anyone wears these things as skirts lol

I didn't want to spend a lot, or buy a whole new wardrobe, so I've been watching FB yard sale sites. I bought a few maxi skirts that can be post maternity, too. I like Old Navy for inexpensive stuff that is comfortable. I have a bunch of cardigans, and have been wearing a lot of short sleeves, or tank tops under them.

Thredup or even swap.com for used bargains as well!!
