Pregnant after miscarriage?

I have been trying to get pregnant for 17 months. After 6 months, I got pregnant but quickly lost the baby. I was devastated and my husband and I have been trying ever since without luck. At month 17 we are finally pregnant again! I'm so excited but also terrified to lose another baby. Can anyone relate?

    I can totally relate. I have a 4 year old daughter. We started TTC 2013, got pregnant right away, had a MMC @ 13 weeks in December. Finally started TTC again this year, took 6 months, another MMC @ 6 weeks. Got pregnant quickly this time around and now I'm completely terrified. I've had spotting twice and I'm on progesterone. I hope after the first tri I won't be so nervous!

    Right there with you. My very first pregnancy resulted in our son, but the second was a mmc at 9 wks, and this time around it is so different because I've gone through the bad. Prayers for healthy babies!

    Yeh...defo can relate. Going through this now. We tried to have a baby a year and a half ago...got a positive right away but it was a chemical pregnancy. Tried the following month and got a positive again, went for scan at 8 wks but it had stopped growing at 5weeks or so.

    Been trying ever since with no positives until this month. Have a positive test but terrified of everything....test lines not getting dark quick enough, not enough symptoms...just think same thing is gonna happen so cant get excited :(

    I am with you sister! I had a miscarriage over Christmas this year somewhere between 7 and 8 weeks. I had a large subchorionic hemorrhage and the bleeding just took over the embryo and it didn't survive. It was terrible.

    After one period, we decided to keep "not preventing" and voila, I'm now about 5 weeks along. I started bleeding at week 4 and since I'm considered high risk, I've had blood tests and u/s to monitor things. HCG levels are going up and I haven't had bleeding in a few days so I'm hoping things will go smoothly and baby will grow strong. We have a viability u/s on Wed. Please send good thoughts and I'll do the same for you!

    Yea, I am PGAL. I had a MMC in Sept and am trying to be hopeful, but can't help being realistic at what can happen again. I am just trying to stay focused on the fact that right now I am pregnant, and I hope at my 12+ week ultrasound there is a healthy baby still in there.

    MMC 9/24/14, D&C 9/25/14 13w3d, Measured at 7w4d

    I can absolutely relate. My husband and I were surprised in September to find out we were pregnant. My HCG and progesterone levels were off from the very beginning. I was on a progesterone supplement and things seemed to be looking up. We had just purchased a new home in October and the day after we made settlement I lost the baby. The doctor couldn't tell if it was ectopic so I received methotrexate. After a rough few months we were told we could start trying in February. It happened that month! We're a little over 6 weeks. My doctor has been tracking everything closely. My levels are progressing like they should and we had our first ultrasound on Wednesday. Everything looks great and we're going back Thursday to hopefully hear the heartbeat!

    I also lost a baby in December. We had been ttc for 7mos and finally got pregnant. We were SO over the moon excited. We went in for our first dr appt at 9 weeks to find the baby had stopped growing somewhere between 5&6 weeks. I'm now 5w2d and am really praying I start to feel those 6 week symptoms kick in next week. Good thoughts to all of you here!

    @mbjones0928 we're following the same exact timeline with the first loss and now the second pregnancy!! Have you had any bleeding in the past week or so? I did last week and really panicked but things are seeming to go well now. I'll be thinking about you and baby!

    I was about 13 wks when I found out I was prego back in December and started bleeding doc did a ultrasound and the sac never formed around the baby so they did a D&C and now I'm surprise to find out I am prego again 6 wks and I'm estatic !! I have two beautiful boys 9 and 6 and soo feel like I'm starting over but I'm beyond ready for another adventure with my 3rd baby!!:)
