  • Funny. I forgot to put in my pics.
The tangerine gecko is our new addition. We just got her last Saturday.
The iguana is Mikey. We have had him 4 years and he is bigger than tinkerbell our dog.

  • @fly106 that looks like a postcard!

@hooligans4 you are a brave lady! I'm afraid of iguanas for no rational reason! The gecko is cute. Does she require difficult care?
  • @kindershlitz I will take the iguana over the gecko any day. Iguanas are vegetarian, the gecko needs meal worms and crickets for food. That is kinda grossing me out.
Care is pretty simple. They need a dark place to sleep, food (gross bugs), water and a heat lamp.
This is our first time having a gecko so hopefully it will be easy. I just ordered two books for my son on how to care for a gecko.
I have to find out if they need uv light like the iguana. But if it does that's easy to add.

  • This is my cocker spaniel that I lost 3 years ago. She was almost 13. I miss her a lot. I lost her at the same time I was waiting to miscarry a blighted ovum so it was really hard on me.

We have a vizsla but I can't find a pic without my daughter and I didn't know if that would be hard for some of you so I won't post unless you want me to.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
  • Satchmo the bulldog, Abbey my kitty & two of the little red hens Ruby & Chai
  • @craftyvixen your bully is beautiful. My brothers just passed away but we love the breed.
Your cat looks like a panther in that pic.
Nice to see you jumping into the community.

  • @hooligans4 thank you! I'm very sorry for the loss of your brother's bully- it's never easy
  • No it's never easy.
They had to put her to sleep because she had kidney failure and he brought her to my moms to be buried in the yard with all our family pets. I met them at the house and we were going to go get some lunch after and as we are getting in the car the little boy I was sitting for said something to my brother about the dog following him. We all stopped dead in our tracks and asked what he was talking about. We never told him that my brother had just buried the dog. He said he saw a dog follow him into his car.
It made everyone smile and feel better.
