fetal cyst on ultrasound

I went in for a 3rd trimester ultrasound to check growth and position at 33 weeks. Growth and position were good! Unfortunately the baby has an abdominal cyst which wasn't there at the 20-week scan. The list of possibilities is endless, but the ultrasound tech thought it looked most like an ovarian cyst on the baby. These are also more common if the mom has pre-eclampsia (I've had high BP but normal labs). Even if it is an ovarian cyst, the list of possible outcomes is endless.

My BP was so good at my last check-up that the doctor took me back down to every 2 week visits. Now he wants me back on weekly visits.

Anyone else been through this?

I just had my anatomy scan yesterday and my baby has a 1.5cm ovarian cyst. They are going to be following me more closely with repeat scans to check for growth. I'm trying not to worry as they said it may resolve on it's own. Out of curiosity, have you had a follow up scan? Any change in the size of your little one's cyst?

I haven't had repeat scans. The doc said it wouldn't do much good until the baby was born. Once she is born, they can repeat a scan and get a better idea what it is, then start tracking the size.
