Hi everyone :-) Firstly, congrats to all newly pregnant moms.
I feel like I am experiencing round lateral pains (jabs of mild pain right side of my lower abdomen) already. Is anyone else getting these pains so early in the pregnancy?

I'm also getting these pains at just 5 weeks! When I have my first appointment I'm going to enquire about any gentle stretching exercises I can do x

  • I've had these too for the last couple weeks. I have my first OB appointment today and I was going to ask about it.
  • I've had them also. Talking to my doctor Monday about mine.
  • I have them too and back twinges....
  • I've also had them.
  • Probably just your uterus stretching. I feel them too. Can't remember how early I felt them with my first pregnancy. I'm sure it's normal.
  • It's normal. Everything is stretching out. The round ligaments will loosen up so your uterus can grow. I remember it starting very early last time too.
  • Me too!! I was so worried that something was wrong and called Obgyn...she assured me it was super normal but it feels better knowing that some other new mommies-to-be are experiencing similar stuff! Phew!!!
  • Yes, late last week and this week (5w5days)! It makes me a bit nervous, but I know it's "normal."
  • I am glad so many other women are experiencing the same thing and that it is normal :-) Can you tell me if your OB suggests any stretches that can be done to help! Thanks!
  • I have had them since implantation! Everyone is different and will experience them at different times. But yes, it is hard not to assume something is wrong! I definitely find that a nice little walk helps tremendously.
  • It started just a few days after my BFP this time for me. Already lightened up though.

  • I had them come & go for the past week or so. Always makes me nervous even though I know it's nornal. Walking definitely helps me, laying down I feel it more. It's been 6 years since my last baby so I can never remember when things started. The gas pains are what are really getting me this week , at least my kids find humor in it, lol.
  • I too am trying the to hide the gas pains from my husband lol! I know mines comes from the folics acid in the pre natal vits.
